The Celtics lost for the 4th time at home this season with a 117-108 setback at home against the Chicago Bulls at TD Garden Thursday night.  Zack Levine led Chicago with 36.  Jayson Tatum scored 31 and had 10 rebounds but scored just 2 points in the 4th Quarter.  Bulls have won 3 in a row for the 1st time this season.     -----Another Double-Double: Jayson Tatum collected his 13th Double-Double of the season and 5th in a row.  It was also his 8th 30-point Double-Double on the season.   -----1st-Half Nuggets:  Celtics went 3-for-16 on 3's and led by 4 after the 1st Quarter.  The Celtics led by as many as 8 points in the 2nd Quarter and were up 3 at the Half. Jayson Tatum scored 17 points in the 1st Half and Kristaps Porzingis scored all 12 of his 1st-Half points in the 2nd Quarter.  Derrick White had a dunk and 3-pointer on back-to-back possessions.  The 3-pointer was the 500th of the season for the Celtics. The Celtics once again avoided losing a 2nd straight game for the 1st time this season with a (123-99) over the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden Thursday night.  The Celtics are now 3-0 on the season against the Pistons and have won 12 straight meetings between the 2 teams.  Derrick White and Payton Pritchard both hit 7 3's in the Celtics 20th win of the season.  Pritchard finished with 27 and White scored 23.  The Celtics had 6 players in Double Figures.   -----No Tatum. No Hauser: The Celtics were without both Jayson Tatum and Sam Hauser for Thursday's game against the Pistons.  Tatum was out for the 2nd time this season but also for the 2nd time in 4 games and after the team had 4 days between games.      -----1st-Half Nuggets:  The Celtics trailed by 2 in the 1st Quarter, led by as many as 11 and ended up leading, 27-16 after the 1st Quarter.  The Pistons went 0-for-12 on 3's in the 1st Quarter.  Luke Kornet was 3-for-3 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line and had 8 Points off the Bench in the 1st.  The Celtics led by 17 in in the 2nd and were up 15 going into the locker room at the Half. The Celtics never trailed in beating the Detroit Pistons, (130-120) Wednesday night at TD Garden in Boston.  The Celtics are 2-0 on the season against the Pistons and 18-4 overall. The Celtics had 3 players with 20 or more points—-Jaylen Brown led the way with 28 points, 9 Assists and 5 Rebounds., Kristaps Porzingis had 26 Points.
