The Kansas City Chiefs couldn't get anything going against the Houston Texans despite their season being on the line. The Chiefs may not be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but it would be nearly impossible for them to make it now. The Texans on the other hand are a team no one wants to see down the stretch. The Indianapolis Colts have been on a downward spiral and things got even worse on Sunday as they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, relinquishing the division lead AND losing Daniel Jones for the season with an Achilles tear. The Green Bay Packers established their NFC North supremacy with a win over the Chicago Bears, but the Bears looked formidable and these teams will rematch in two weeks to figure it out again. The Detroit Lions handled the Dallas Cowboys from start to finish on Thursday Night Football and now the Cowboys playoff hopes are likely finished as well. The Lions stay alive after smothering the Cowboys offense, satisfyingly after Dak Prescott had a lot to say before the game. The Philadelphia Eagles have a little more breathing room against the Los Angeles Chargers now, but losing Jalen Carter will be a massive blow to their best unit. The Kansas City Chiefs are on their last legs and with a banged up offensive line they host the best defensive line in the NFL. Blocking the Houston Texans defensive front won't be easy, and it'll be even harder now, requiring more from Patrick Mahomes. The Cincinnati Bengals are also hoping to stay alive this week as they head to take on the Buffalo Bills in a game the Bills should be able to handle, but for their big-picture goals to work, the Bills have to be better in the pass rush and need to prove it now. In the NFC North, the Chicago Bears get a chance to prove they are true contenders on the road against the Green Bay Packers and it will be a test of discipline as a team that doesn't turn it over faces a team that forces them more than anyone else. The Kansas City Chiefs are officially in trouble after a loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The Cincinnati Bengals shocked the Baltimore Ravens in the return of Joe Burrow. While the attention will go to Burrow and crew, it was actually the much-maligned defense that impressed. Lamar Jackson simply is not playing good football and the Ravens can't be trusted in the future.
