Jack Hoffman, the 19-year-old college student, Nebraska football fan and longtime fighter against pediatric brain cancer, passed away on Wednesday in Atkinson, Neb. This week in Charlotte, college football coaches got together at their annual convention and offered a proposal to move the window for players to enter the transfer portal. It was a nice start to the conversation that needs to happen in this sport. The season finale came with typical Nebraska football drama, but the Huskers did it. They beat Boston College 20-15 in the Pinstripe Bowl Saturday at Yankee Stadium to finish 7-6.
