The Vic W MVP conversation is completely useless right now. just pointless. I need to hear more about the team and less about Vic because right now the team is atrocious and getting worse and Vics play is part of the problem.
I love the Spurs but I'm so glad they lost. This team is full of role players. In fact, they should trade Keldon and Jakob to move up in talent. They can only improve via a higher draft pick. Everyone on the roster is on the block.
Guys, why is every episode recorded before the most recent game? There is never a post game reaction/breakdown podcast. Ever. Wtf. This episode was recorded before the Rockets game which was 3 days ago. They have a 5 day break. Are you kidding me?!?! Zero post game reaction ever? This is some mediocre coverage. What else could you possibly be covering in San Antonio?
I Am quitting hearing this podcast for how much I am starving to hear and follow what's going on with my loved Spurs, there is little pace. Little analysis and little context, repeating 3 days in a row a rant against Lonnie Walker without mentioning that he is always off the ball or playing most of the time on the floor with different second unit players does not help pushing is game higher means simply sort of clicl baiting journalism, sorry not my taste at all. Good bye!
I love talking Spurs but if the guest is gonna be a low energy guy who mumbles can we at least get him a quality mic so we can hear him loud and clear. PS. the Spurs should tank and trade players. We have a bunch of role players.
Okay, I'm about 18 minutes into this pod and I had to pause and just reflect over some of the points being made. Let's take out opinions and just go with numbers before we get into eyeball tests and so forth: Nikola Vucevic's game is not even remotely similar to Jokic's game neither in style nor in impact as is claimed. Per 100 possessions, Jokic averages 11.8 assists vs Vucevic's 5.3. Per 100 possessions the Magic are 1.0 points better ON OFFENSE when he's on the court vs Jokic's massive 13.4 points better per 100 possessions when he's on the court. He isn't close. The idea that he's impactful as any of the top centers in the west is just completely and entirely unfounded. And this is just speaking offensively. He's a 30 year center who has a true shooting percentage of 57.1% and is poor on defense. How poor? His team is 8.3 points WORSE with him on the court. Why? He ranks in the bottom half in the league among centers in contests AND the magic allow for more offensive rebounds when
Fan of the pod but when the quality of the audio is garbage it is USELESS. Come on guys. Up your game.
This bitter jerk goes from one episode to another pretending that Kawhi Leonard doesn't exist. What an ungrateful moron! Kawhi helped win one title for the Spurs. (And it would've been two if Pop remembered to put in rebounders at the end of Game 6 in 2013.)
The sound quality couldn't be worse.
how did this entire episode avoid mentioning The Lakers even once when discussing "tiers" in the western conference? ---odd
Do we take "The Klaw" off the All Time San Antonio Spurs
