Unknown to many, except for a few in the rap industry’s inner circle Pure Dynamite got a taste of the spotlight when he collaborated with DJ Mark The 45 King on a demo called “Scratch of Fury” in late 1986, which became a local hit in the New York/ New Jersey area and prompted The Awesome Two, Special K, and Teddy Ted to play it on a weekly radio show in New York on 105.9 WNWK. During the summer of 1987 Dynamite soon recorded a second demo”Untouchable”. Soon the demo came to the attention of Kool DJ Red Alert, who played it on his then Saturday night rap show on 98.7 KISS FM in New York City. Fast forward to 2004 Pure Dynamite is behind the boards producing two songs for Pace Won on his album, TELEPATHY. The songs he produced for Pace “You Ain’t Really Down” and “Love Me Baby” instantly landed the album in THE SOURCE magazine as one of the top underground rap albums of 2004. In 2006 as CEO of Times Square Entertainment, Pure Dynamite inked his first record deal with the New Jersey-based record label Gossip Records. Now in 2013 his latest CD PORNO CIRCUS is scheduled to drop later this year on his label imprint TIMES SQUARE. A concept album with 11 songs that he wrote, produced and mixed himself. His current single and video “Lapdance With You”(featuring Michael K. Success and LA) is at 58,614 views on youtube. His controversial next single “Bisexuality” (featuring Quinsessa) is a future club banger as well. Dynamite’s musical influences are Soul, Jazz, Disco, and the Old School pioneers who started Hip-Hop. “I wanted to put a few tracks together”, Dynamite says. “Give the fans something different than what they’ve been hearing these days”.
