Description
The true crime book Loose Units, out now through Penguin Publishing (and in bookstores everywhere), had one thing it couldn't do: it couldn't fit everything. So each week, Paul and John will sit down and delve into cases too surreal, brief or contentious to fit into the book.

You two are hilarious probably a lot alike. I've just found you, so about 3 years behind. I'm listening from across the ditch in New Zealand. Fantastic, fascinating and fun!

Her voice stops being disguised for a bit. Not sure if that can be rectified.
I've never felt sick listening to any episodes until this one! Was not expecting that !! π³
What happened to Paul with the scans? John always interrupts the flow of conversation with his stories. π€£ Poor Paul must drive him somewhat insane. Hope he asked him offline if he was ok because he totally changed the subject. Anyhow hope Paul is ok.
hi remember when I was about 17 years old my younger sister and I hitch a ride from Picton nsw we were wanting to go past tahmor, anyway 2 men stopped and picked us up in an ford sedan, they were very scary, said some pretty scary stuff and when they slowed down going through tahmor we jumped and ran, I never forgot that drivers face and I am pretty sure that was Ivan milat. Also he used to hang around the truck stop petrol station in Bargo and everyone knew him as buffalo bill and all the people said how creepy he was and how he was always at that truck stop, that was in the 1970's and early 80's , so who knows how many people went missing. I know that was my first and last time I hitch hiked. I don't want to give my name because there was another person in that car and still scared.
The only job of the defence is to cast reasonable doubt on the case of the prosecutor. The onus is on the prosecutor to prove guilt. Guilt or not is not the job of the defence.
Police (in my own experience) DO NOT treat suicide as possible murders. Suicide is all too easy an explanation.
She did the right thing!! She might well have been in danger from the people who came back to clean up the crime scene! She needs total hero credit!
Where does this stop? Would you commercialise the Port Arthur massacre?
is the wrong file attached to this episode? this is same as last week?
Spontaneous combustion?

Paul, your old man is a legend! I'm from Melbourne, so curious if John had any run-ins, events or incidents within Vic?
No, John, it is NOT cool to talk and laugh about Carlotta in such an abhorrent, disrespectful way.
