The historicical information in this Podcast is great. A lot of good information. However, there is a serious issue mixing fact with opinion without noting it. For example, in one of the casts it's stated that, "She threw herself on the pyre, PROBABLY because men didn't want her to collect the inheritance." This kind of opinionated wokery is scattered throughout many of the casts. It takes away from the real history and story being told.

in secondary school, me, my friend and a teacher made a joke about monkey fishes being a thing. so I went on to research it to prove it was a thing (to add to the joke) I found the sea monkey and stopped my research.

wow so many people roasting this show in here. I love ahrons voice and story telling. I love the music too this is by far one of my favorite podcasts. if I had any complaints it would be that they are a bit short and that this would be perfect to fall asleep to if not for the ads( maybe there's an add free stream on patreon or something if that's the case that's fair i didn't look). anyway just wanted to balance out the negative reviews because I think he does a great job

Thanks for the story on the Sunshine Lady. I'm born and raised in Hendersonville, North Carolina and have fun memories of going to Oakdale Cemetery and peering into the cracks of that crypt, using a flashlight, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. Never did happen though. Thanks again for sharing her story.

A cursory google will tell you the "mad lady haunted by ghosts" angle is entirely made up. Sarah Winchester is one of the very few real humanitarians in American history, her house was a project to give work to the large number of unemployed people that live nearby. The script even mentions all the spiritual direction is conjecture, there's no reason to think any of her actions were directed by seances. Missing the real humanity for navel gazing about a "mystery" that is entirely fictional, smh.
