I did it for YEARS.   What we don’t do enough of is obsess about what we are doing each day to BETTER our lives.   If someone asks us about our flaws most of us can rattle off that shit easily.   The minute you are asked to talk about what’s RIGHT about you we go to the pooper and struggle to make a list of five. Let alone TELL it out loud to someone.   In today’s podcast I get VERY animated about how we have to stop using our past against us to deny our future.   If you want to lose weight it’s simple.   What are you going to eat next meal?   Done.    What you ate last weekend or how many diets you’ve broken are irrelevant until you decide to make them the linchpin to your success.   We have to quit beating ourselves up and start building our future. Hi I'm a Disabled Physical Therapist and I have been introduced to your program by an Occupational Therapist in my Rehabilitation. I have suffered my most adult no life with being overweight. So I tragically had the Gastric bypass surgery in 1998. I weighed 250lbs and Lost 100 lb my stomach was so small that I couldn't absorb the vitamins I needed and it end up giving me a disability and I'm now in a wheelchair and weigh 300 pounds. this is very difficult for me to even talk about or try to do anything but your program was inspired to me by another occupational therapist my pride 2 for 1 day and it really really helps me I now started the documentation and trying to write a lot of stuff down which I don't like to do but I'm going to give it all my best thank you very much for introducing me to this program. a truck driver does not make their own schedule, in the days of paper logs, they did. Electronic logs have put a stop to that, when the computer says drive, you do, when it says stop you do.

Hi my name is Charlotte. I've been on every diet just about that's been created. I don't want to blame my past any more. I want to learn how to eat NORMAL ! I know this is my fault only. I just need help fixing what's in my head. I've been listening to your podcasts and I like what I hear ( except the cuss words sorry)(but that's your business). Technically the show isn't targeted to me as I'm a guy (in Australia) but I've found Karin to be great to listen to. Her no BS style really speaks to me and so far I've been listening for 15 weeks and lost 20kg, or about 45 pounds. The key lesson she often circles back to is ONLY EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY. It's amazingly powerful advice. I tune into her new episodes fairly often for a top up of inspiration or support when I need it. Thank you, you've really helped me!
