We talk about how you have to set up routines, think about and write about your goals, really begin to listen to how you talk to yourself and more. These are habits that we both have developed over time, and we share how individual they are to us.
Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse It's November and time to figure out how you're going to ride the weightloss momentum train through the holidays. Today I give you three of my BEST tips on how you can enjoy your holiday season and lose weight. You won't want to miss this episode. It will shape the next two months for you in ways that are easy and doable.
Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse Today we go into a concept I learned from Marie Forleo's book, Everything Is Figureoutable. It's the difference between saying "I can't" and saying "I won't". Think about how many times a day you say "I can't lose weight" or "I can't follow my plan". What you're really saying is that some outside force is preventing you from getting your work done. If you change the script to "I won't...." then you are taking responsibility for the decision you are making to not do the work. In today's podcast I talk to you about how to find the areas in your life when you are saying "I can't" and how to flip them into an "I won't" that leads you to figuring it out. Also mentioned in this podcast: Rachel Hart podcast, Take a Break from Drinking, ep. 78 The EntreLeadership Podcast, ep. 341
Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse Today we talk about hunger. So many of my clients think being hungry is hard or even scary. They avoid hunger and eat in response to feeling lonely, wanting to relax, because the food is free, or because they are tired. In this podcast we talk about all the reasons why we are afraid to get a little hungry and what happens when we actually allow ourselves to get hungry and just not eat.
Conquering Urges to Overeat

Conquering Urges to Overeat

Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse In today's podcast we talk all about how to conquer an urge to overeat. We all have urges to eat. Sometimes they are driven by our body's hunger signals and sometimes they are because we just want to eat. Today I talk about the difference between wanting to eat and needing to eat, and I give you a three step process to conquer your urges to eat.
Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse   In today's podcast I teach you all about noticing what you are thinking about yourself and your weightloss and creating new, better thoughts to think.   You likely start with thoughts of "I can't figure this out."    I'll show you how to work up to thinking "I have figured this out."   Shifting your perspective without judging yourself starts the process of weightloss or, as I like to say, gets that first domino to fall.
Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse   Have you ever really listened to how you talk to yourself?   You know what I mean, that voice that says you're fat, you're ugly, or you're not good enough.   We all have that voice. Today I teach you how to hear that voice and decide whether or not you want to listen to it.
Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse   If you've lost weight before and then gained it back, then you need to listen to this episode.   Just because you lost weight in the past doesn't mean that diet was a success. Especially if you didn't keep it off.   Today we talk about how you might want to look at the past to find successes that really aren't there.    We teach you how to look at today and into the future to figure out how to create weightloss success and not be clouded by what you "think" happened in the past.
Get the Free Course here: http://phit.click/freecourse   When I was in eighth grade I weighed 210lbs. I was always picked last in PE and hated going to dances.    Why? Because no one wanted to go with me and I didn’t want to stay home just to face the music Monday where people would ask, “Why didn’t you come?”   Given my weight issues I should have never…   Lost 100lbs.   Started a business about losing 100lbs.   Become one of the top Health experts in all of ITunes.   Why do I tell you this?   Because it’s so easy to sit around and obsess about why you can’t lose weight. I did it for YEARS.   What we don’t do enough of is obsess about what we are doing each day to BETTER our lives.   If someone asks us about our flaws most of us can rattle off that shit easily.   The minute you are asked to talk about what’s RIGHT about you we go to the pooper and struggle to make a list of five. Let alone TELL it out loud to someone.   In today’s podcast I get VERY animated about how we have to stop using our past against us to deny our future.   If you want to lose weight it’s simple.   What are you going to eat next meal?   Done.    What you ate last weekend or how many diets you’ve broken are irrelevant until you decide to make them the linchpin to your success.   We have to quit beating ourselves up and start building our future. That starts today with this podcast.

Hi I'm a Disabled Physical Therapist and I have been introduced to your program by an Occupational Therapist in my Rehabilitation. I have suffered my most adult no life with being overweight. So I tragically had the Gastric bypass surgery in 1998. I weighed 250lbs and Lost 100 lb my stomach was so small that I couldn't absorb the vitamins I needed and it end up giving me a disability and I'm now in a wheelchair and weigh 300 pounds. this is very difficult for me to even talk about or try to do anything but your program was inspired to me by another occupational therapist my pride 2 for 1 day and it really really helps me I now started the documentation and trying to write a lot of stuff down which I don't like to do but I'm going to give it all my best thank you very much for introducing me to this program. a truck driver does not make their own schedule, in the days of paper logs, they did. Electronic logs have put a stop to that, when the computer says drive, you do, when it says stop you do.

I love Corinne's approach to weightloss. not just dealing with the physical issues but dealing with the mental. I did not realize how much I had suppressed until I started listening and dealing with my mental garbage. Thank you soooooo much!!

I have lost and gained 40 lb more times than I care to remember with every diet going. I've lost 18 lb in 3m as a pnp podcast groupie and have been listening to Corrine and Kathy daily. they're brilliant. I've learned so much and am even enjoying my mistakes without panic. the mindwork is so helpful. you're not broken. thoughts and feelings are not facts. sometimes it's going to feel like ass. thanks guys. you give me so much hope and I'm working towards that turning into absolute confidence that this is sustainable.

Hi my name is Charlotte. I've been on every diet just about that's been created. I don't want to blame my past any more. I want to learn how to eat NORMAL ! I know this is my fault only. I just need help fixing what's in my head. I've been listening to your podcasts and I like what I hear ( except the cuss words sorry)(but that's your business). Could you please tell me what the tribe is all about? It would help a lot to be prepared. Thank you so much.

Technically the show isn't targeted to me as I'm a guy (in Australia) but I've found Karin to be great to listen to. Her no BS style really speaks to me and so far I've been listening for 15 weeks and lost 20kg, or about 45 pounds. The key lesson she often circles back to is ONLY EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY. It's amazingly powerful advice. I tune into her new episodes fairly often for a top up of inspiration or support when I need it. Thank you, you've really helped me!

Thank you! I honestly believe that the past can hold you hostage or give you an excuse to not move forward. I was once a victim of my past. Not anymore! I now take the lemons of my past and use them to make me a sweet cup of my present and future lemonade. Thank you!

I never comment on podcasts... NEVER!!! But your story could be my own...I mean REALLY!!! 1. Horrible childhood with awful bullying- my second grade teacher brought a chair from the high school because I was so big and I was set in the middle of the class...Kids were horrible- I failed second grade.. because my parents were going through their divorce- got the same teacher a second year 😲 2. Single mother who worked second shift and I was a latch key kid 3. My oldest daughter was born with a disability (22q13 Deletion Syndrome)- very similar to autism as the biggest delay is speech and communication. We are different because my daughter started having seizures and ultimately passed away when she was nearly 5. Ummmm...my world STOPPED spinning is an understatement 4. Horrible highschool relationship (my oldest daughter's bio father). He ended up being mentally abusive 5. I have too lost over 100lbs- 200lbs actually without weight loss surgery. Highest ever weight was 425 (after pregnancy) and I have gotten as low as 195. I have maintained most of my loss but I'm tetter tottering around 220-230. Listening to your podcasts every chance I can and I went specifically looking for something related to depression because I have hit a rough patch. I just hope someone in your group brings this to your attention because I know you must be busy. Just want you to know your my newest "celebrity crush" (but I believe celebrities are just regular people who put their pants on just like me 🤷‍♀️). Just wanted to say I relate to you and so many of the suggestions you make for weight loss because I did alot of this before I found PNP now I'm like "Yeaaaa... That's it" 🤣 All the best Corrine, love, the lady leaving a comment
