One final episode for 2023 as we cross-over into 2024 with a heart of Gratitude and Thanksgiving. trusting in God for what is to come.

We continue in our discussion about unity in the body of Christ. We recap on the subject of complete oneness, then branch into having harmony with one another in the body of Christ.

In this class we re-review John 17 as Jesus prays for oneness for his disciples, that the world may know God sent Jesus. We also review Exodus 33 where Moses asks God to show him his glory

Lets discuss that difficult subject of war in Israel. It’s a slightly chilly morning in Texas on the 21st day of October 2023. It’s been 2 weeks now since the current war in Israel broke out. This particular outbreak has only been 2 weeks but the battle for the land has gone on for over 5 decades. The spirit of the war on the other hand has lasted over 3 millennia. At this point most adults, young and old, have their minds already set. Most people have already taken sides. If you were born in certain regions, your mind is made up as a child. I say all that to say this, I’m not expecting this message to change minds. I hope it’ll appeal to some hearts and cause a rethinking of position taken, or perhaps trigger some introspective thought, but I’ve come to realize that only God can really change mindsets and break strongholds that keep young (and old) minds captive. I hope this open letter finds a place in your heart.

Jesus says “He who has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me”. In this class we talk about obedience even when you don’t understand the command. We revisit the parable of the sower, and expand how each of us can fall into any of the soil categories at any stage of our Journey with God.

Having confidence and faith in the word you have received is key to overcoming temptation and sin. In this class we delve into the word and revisit Jesus’s temptation. How should we think when we are tempted? How do we overcome sin and temptation.

Jesus admonishes his disciples in Luke 12:36 to be as men who wait for their master’s return. In this session we discuss what it means to be servants waiting for our Master’s return.
