Be A. Friend

The line by Lovett about trying to have as rich of a conversation as possible with your father, given your dynamics, is perfectly put!! Thanks for putting into words the very real situation many of us find ourselves in. lol

I grew up in an integrated neighborhood & I have spent my entire life defending black people. I have donated to campaigns not in my state to help all women of all colors. Before the Pandemic I was OK with whoever the candidate chose as their VP. The Joe Biden of 2020 is a very poor choice for President. 98% of Dems felt that way, that's why he was losing in every state. For him to be bullied to choose a VP based only on sex & color is making a bad situation worse. We need experience. we need someone who refuses to take any lying shit & has the balls to admit a mistake & tactics to be prepared for anything. Ms. Reade is only the beginning. We need a candidate with a personality like Cuomo & Jay Inslee. Democrats never defend themselves forcefully. Obama, Hillary, Pelosi, Summer & Clinton gave Republicans carte blanche to lie & degrade them. We haven't had a strong leader since Roosevelt. We need someone who'll be a Pence to Biden's flaws. These people who are bullying Biden don't care about the country. if Biden gives in to their demands it proves Biden should not be president.

I like the segment at the end, where the episode ends on a high note. It's wonderful to hear people who care about other people doing things to help their communities.

Every time Ronan talks about growing up in the spotlight I had no idea what he was talking about. And then I googled him and found out he's Mia Farrow's son and everything makes much more sense.

It's an insanely antidemocratic idea that primary candidate does not matter. Larry is going to miss the hump of no return if we allow anyone to buy the entire voting process out in the open. Both him and I will be dead even if earth survives before you get real democratic elections back again. People I thought represented the very idea of fair and equal, are getting BOUGHT OUT. Stacy Abrams. K, I'm white ish, and my protest against racist Bloomberg might be comical to those who experienced racism, but whatever the color of your skin, understand we just won't be able to come back to anything recognizable if we take a racist gop woman hater wearing a mask and try to elevate him out of fear calling him Democrat or democratically elected. Even if gerrymandered, even when supposed in parts, even if backed by dark money for some candidates, we still haven't sold out as a people today in our entirety. Maybe my single vote doesn't matter much but who Americans elect matters.
