We are halfway through the year so what better day than today to make your dreams and goals a reality! I suggest you meditate today and always ground your energy. On this episode of Luna Mia Podcast, I talk about the experience I had going to Linda Garcia's book signing at Barnes and Noble at The Americana In Glendale CA for Wealth Warrior which is out now. Make sure to buy a copy or listen to the book on Audible it is read by Linda and is such a gem! I go into detail about what I experienced not only at her book signing but at Warriorchella as well. This was her first in-person event in Texas so I knew i had to go. I have always wanted to go to Texas so I knew this was my opportunity to not only hold space collectively with amazing people but my soul needed that for me to be able to heal and let go of anything and everything that was no longer serving me. To experience and take it all in was truly life-changing! I hope you enjoy it!
This episode is to honor my Madrecita Maria Guadalupe and her life journey growing up, coming to America, and her shitty luck with men. I want to say thank you to all the single mothers out there. I know firsthand it is far from easy but you are still out there doing it! My mom was born in El Guayabito where at the time there were only 2 houses. Then she moved to her grandfather's ranch in Soriyo Jalisco. She then moved to Guachinango where she lived for a few years until she decided to leave home and move to Guadalajara at the age of 13. I can't even imagine leaving at such an early age and already having to work to support yourself and the family for that matter. She met the first love of her life in Guadalajara in her 20s when she met my brother's dad who was a bullfighter and got pregnant. Unfortunately, she was not able to give him the good news because he went to Spain and never came back. A bull killed him and his family wanted to take my brother away from her. That was when she had no choice but to leave and come to America. She crossed through T.J. with my brother and she, unfortunately, got detained one of the officers grabbed her breast while she was getting searched and she defended herself. She ended up in jail for 3 weeks and was released back to Mexico. Regardless she came back and eventually was able to become a citizen because of Ronald Reagan's Immigration Reform. I go into detail of her bad luck with men including my dad. My point of view as a child growing up with a single mother and how it made me and shaped me to be the woman I am today. Thank you to all the single mothers out there, I respect and honor you all more than you know!
✨New @lunamiapodcast with my fellow ♈️ @brujitaleah ❤️‍🔥 We talk about @brujitaskincare and how her vision became reality. Brujita Skincare is an LA based, Latina owned and was born during one of Leah Guerrero’s many month-long visits to Mexico City. With over 15 years of experience as an esthetician in holistic skincare, Leah created Brujita Skincare in 2017 after immersing herself in the mercados of Mexico City. It’s from these same inspirational mercados that Leah hand picks key ingredients used in her products. Whether sourced from Mexico City or the United States, all ingredients chosen are sustainable, raw, organic, and unrefined. Leahs concepts come from nostalgia and evoking inner child memories. She has been able to create your favorite collections such as Estoy Stoned, In My Room and Redrum through these magical spells. We talk about Leah trying to normalize and changing the narrative around the word “Brujita” to begin with so it’s not taboo. How Leah’s Abuelita instilled in her to get a job as soon as she could, aside from having to pay for things she wanted on her own. How her first jobs working at Jamba Juice at 15 years old and being a server at Johnny Rockets helped her gain the skills of customer service that have helped her to this day. Talking about setting boundaries not only in personal life but in business as well because with boundaries come change. What it takes to run a successful skin care business while staying true and authentic to self. *20% off your Brujita Skincare order with code LUNAMIA. Thank you Leah!
On this episode I get raw and honest of how hard this year 2023 has been! I catch you up on everything myself and my family have been going through. I am trying to create awareness with Colon Cancer after my brother went through it in February. No one ever said life would be easy but I didn’t expect it to get this hard all at once! For anyone who is having a rough year so far please know this is only temporary and this too shall pass! You got this, keep going. I’ve had to deal with a lot of issues that have come up for me & left me feeling helpless/triggered. Those are the difficult moments that life will definitely bring but I am not a weak b**** & refuse to give up! If it’s one thing I am though it’s a chillona so trigger warning I do cry 😭 (Sorry not sorry, it’s okay to cry!)

Linda Garcia CEO, The Chosen Hundred LLC + Founder, In Luz We Trust A Cali native and proud Latina, Linda Garcia spent 17 years working in the TV and film industry helping well-recognized TV networks, movie studios, and streaming services build programming for the U.S. Hispanic market. Despite enjoying the work, Linda knew there was more to life than working to make someone else rich. Eventually, she took the knowledge she’d gained and used it to launch the Let There Be Luz podcast: a weekly podcast aimed to channel one’s spiritual journey, which Linda concluded at its 101st episode. In 2019, after relocating to Dallas, Linda’s spiritual journey led her to what she considers her life’s purpose: to help the Latinx community heal the generational money wounds that prevent them from achieving wealth. In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Linda launched her first stock market course for beginners and created a rapidly growing community of Latinx investors on Patreon and Instagram known as In Luz We Trust. Today Linda is a published children’s book author, a self-made business owner, and a guiding Luz for thousands of POC who are looking to break free from limiting and toxic money mentalities. Linda’s book, ‘Wealth Warrior’, is set to be released in April 2023. In Luz We Trust is an experience-led online community with courses that address limiting beliefs prevalent in communities of color, with a step-by-step component that simplifies the stock market, helping to navigate fears that are tied to our upbringing. Through this conversation, we hope to demystify money and investing, help identify common money wounds we subconsciously hold, gain clarity, and move towards taking action in investing.   ✨On this episode we have a real, raw, unedited, and much necessary conversation for the collective. We talk about our journeys as stock market investors and the emotions and money wounds we both have had to work through. We talk about her 'Wealth Warrior' book, which is set to be released on April 11, 2023. Make sure to go pre-order your copy and add it to your must-read list! Giving thanks to Linda for being such an inspiration for me to begin my own podcast  and reason for my own personal investment/spirtual journey and growth in general. How she has taken up space in the male-dominated investing world. How she steps into her reality and changes in perspectives by being a Master Manifestor and growing up being 1st generation from immigrant parents and the lack of representation that is out there. We also talk about her experience with getting into Ice Baths and cold plunges and her experience with them. The transition she went through moving to Texas right before the Pandemic hit and so much more. Such a great conversation you won’t want to miss it!
