MVP: Windows and Devices for IT (Audio) - Channel 9

Live from Chicago Coder Conference 2017, I presented this introduction to running Windows 10 IoT Core on the Raspberry Pi 2 and developing a custom solution on the platform.  I explain why I chose the Raspberry Pi 2 and Windows 10 IoT Core, how to build and an app onto Windows 10 IoT Core, and how to control lights and motors using the GPIO Pins.  I frame this in the context of creating a gizmo I call the PiVote, which controls 3 LEDs and 2 motors, and can query a REST API I created for a simple website that I built using the OutSystems low code development platform.

Comment faire la mise en place d'office 365 (1er partie)Pour la dernière vidéo de l'année 2015, nous allons voir ensemble la première partie de l'intégration d'office 365 à notre Active Directory. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, voici le lien sur les explication d'office 365 (ici) Nous allons donc faire une mise en place d'office 365. Le modèle que j'ai choisie de mettre en place est la synchronisation des utilisateurs AD vers Office 365. Dans ce genre de synchronisation par contre la modification d'un utilisateur se fera toujours de notre Active Directory vers Office 365 et non pas le contraire.Pour faire ce laboratoire, j'ai acheté un nom de domaine francisb.xyz.Dans cette première partie, nous allons faire la configuration d'office 365, en lui présentant que nous possédons un nom de domaine, avec des modifications de nos DNS et pour finir, changement des noms de domaine faisant autorité sur notre nom de domaine.L'assistant Office 365 est très facile et très intuitif.Une fois cette partie faite, il nous faut préparer notre domaine interne pour l'installation de l'outils de synchronisation. La première chose à faire, est l'installation du Framework 3.5.Après nous devons modifier le suffixe UPN de nos utilisateurs pour nom de domaine. (Dans mon cas @francisb.xyz)Dans la prochaine vidéo, nous ferons la synchronisation en tant que tel. Cela consistera à l'installation de l'outil dirsyn et le choix de l'OU (unité organisationnel) à synchroniser. Et pour finir, nous attribuerons des licences à nos utilisateurs afin de procéder à l'installation d'office 2013 ou Office 2016

En este video conoceremos algunas de las nuevas caracteristicas sobre los temas relacionados a la implementacion de Windows 10. 

In this video, I will demonstrate some uses for Turbo containers on Windows. Dockers has been getting quite a lot of buzz in the industry. Docker, of course provides the ability to create Linux based containers. Windows Server 2016, which is in preview at the time of this post, will provide the ability to create and run containers on Server 2016. The Linux kernel was developed to allow Docker containers to run. Windows Server is being updated in order to allow those containers run.   Turbo containers run inside of their own VM which sits on top of the Windows kernel. Because of this, Turbo containers can run on any version of Windows. You won't need to be on the latest version of Windows to use these containers. You also won't need a Windows client to run Linux containers. These are Windows based containers that can run on any version of Windows. If you view my video, you can get up and running to try it out for yourself and you'll see some cool uses. I hope you enjoy!Rory Monaghan
