brilliant podcast, very informative and evidence based..... the whole case stinks since operation grange took over.
This seems very one sided. The American profiler Brown is ridiculous. She's applying the scenario to what a serial killer or criminal would do, where they would "dump" a body etc. These are parents, how and when could they have done that?!? If they had committed the perfect murder why do they keep it constantly in the media.
So far this podcast seems to be pointing the finger at the Mccanns, despite its proclamation that it isn't. Which is a shame and a waste of time because it's very obvious to anyone with any empathy or intellect that it wasn't them.
This is really poor journalism.
this podcast is brilliant. highly esteemed by all the people closely following this case. very thorough work. not afraid to break the paid media articles about the shoddy police work and what not, when they most likely had the case solved almost straight away. brilliant and I'm on to my second listen of each episode.
has this podcast Now finished?
I am confused a little on the Tanner sighting....firstly she is their friend so what purpose would she have to fake a sighting....2nd ifbshe did not actually see the two men on the path talking then how does she know that the two men in fact ran into each other and stood and spoke for a bit? Is the difference in stories just and attempt to cause confusion? Maybe part of her account is true and part of it is false. Did she pass the two men talking but not see the man with a child? But again what would be the purpose of lying since Jerry's account differs from his friend?
why is the missing calls being called a theory??....seems like that is fact...at least based on what is said here. I have not seen actual documents. But missing call logs definitely seems suspicious..however could there be an innocent explanation? have the McCann's ever explain why the records show calls and phones don't or why Kate's phone shows calls to Jerry but the calls are missing from Jerry's phone?
Is this podcast finished?
I have to wonder what difference it might have made to the investigation if the Tapas 7 had been honest about their frequency, or lack thereof, on checking on their children. They put how it would make them look over the wellbeing of a missing child.
You shouldn't bring a libel complaint when you can't prove libel.
The police need to use every avenue available to find the truth.
What a load of rubbish!! I listened to the end expecting something important to come up, it didn't, don't waste your time listening to this.

The statement of Dr Katherine Zacharias Gaspar made to Leicestershire Police on 16 May 2007: “I give this declaration in relation to the McCANN family who are currently in Portugal. The McCANN family is composed of Gerry McCANN, his wife, Kate McCANN and their three children, Madeleine, aged 4, and Sean and Amelie, who are twins and 3 years of age. As is abundantly clear, Madeleine is not with her family presently, and has been missing for the last two weeks. “I will start by explaining that I am married to Arul Savio Gaspar and we have two daughters. I have been married to Savio for 11 years. We met when we were working together in Exeter about 14 years ago [1993]. I am a General Practitioner as was my husband. He continues to be a General Practitioner but is also a specialist. “To explain how we know the McCann family, I would say that my husband knows Kate, as they both attended the University of Dundee between 1987 and 1992. At the time, Kate was known by the name of Kate Healey. I
