Today I’m sharing 6 tools that improved my life in 2023 that I will be bringing into 2024. These tools, apps, mindset shifts, and ideas have all helped me so much in different ways and I hope maybe they can help you as well.
This episode explores three thought-provoking ideas I've been reflecting on lately: the idea of backwards gratitude, the notion that our circumstances may not fully define how good we're actually able to feel in the present moment, and rethinking fundamental attributions of people's essence.
We often view imposter syndrome as something negative to overcome. But I have a different view. Tune in as we discuss why we demonize imposter syndrome in the first place, how to reframe it as an accomplishment, and why seeking discomfort is the true path to progress.
I’m not a big fan of the “just visualize, and it will happen” view of manifestation. But there are real psychological forces that allow our beliefs to shape reality - like self-fulfilling prophecies, the Pygmalion effect, and confirmation bias. In this episode, I'll break down how these work together to create a feedback loop between beliefs, behaviors, perceptions, and outcomes. We'll discuss how your subconscious mind uses evidence to shape your beliefs and intentions, which then influence your actions and what you notice around you. This shapes how others respond to you, further confirming your beliefs. Understanding this cycle is key to examining your beliefs and consciously creating new evidence that your subconscious needs to work in alignment with your life.
Growing up in the digital age I’ve always been aware of the opportunities that social media and the digital landscape bring. I’m also no stranger to the risks of social media and the negative impact it can have on our individual lives as well as society as a whole. In today’s episode I share some frameworks as well as actionable ways I think about and engage with social media in my own life in an effort to maximize the upsides, while minimizing the downsides.
Decision making can be challenging. We often get stuck in our heads, overlook unintended consequences, or we go with our impulses without fully considering the long term impacts. In this episode, we’ll explore different frameworks to bring clarity to tough choices. I’ll share 3 simple but powerful tools that help me cut through the noise and make the best possible decisions from a place of openness and alignment.
Feeling disconnected from your true self? Let's talk about living in alignment with your core values for sustainable well being. In today’s episode I’ll share some practical tools that helped me start to peel back the layers and get in touch with my intuition.
In this episode, I explain why trying to have all the answers before starting something new can actually hold you back. Seeking excessive information costs your most valuable asset - time. Perusing an overload of information often leads to analysis paralysis rather than action. Instead, move forward following your intuition. You'll learn more from real experience than research based on hypotheticals.
Blind self-absorption isn't confidence, it's insecurity masked by bravado. In this episode, I break down how to build real confidence that comes from within. I share tactics for constructing genuine self-worth, not fragile hubris dependent on validation. Learn why embracing vulnerability and imperfection paradoxically makes you more confident and resilient. Discover how to cultivate self-compassion and let go of projecting an image. Tune in to rethink what confidence really means and how to develop it based on internal validation rather than blind self-assurance.
How often does a random stranger do something that annoys you and it ends up ruining your day? Protect your peace of mind with a fun game I explain in this episode. Playing this game has not only helped me have more control over my mindset and mood, it helps strengthen my empathy and compassion overcompensating for the negativity bias we have as humans.
In today’s episode I’m sharing three ideas I have about cultivating and maintaining self discipline From mindset strategies, to practical tips you can implement today, we will explore how to create a sustainable foundation for discipline that goes beyond relying on willpower.
I hope one or all of these little tips help help you out in some way! I personally love all of these tips and I try to implement them in little ways as much as possible. Even though they’re small, they can still be hard and even though they aren’t always what I need if I am dealing with a bigger issue, these do help me out a lot of the time on a day to day basis.
Sometimessssss negative emotions suck. But…we all have them and they make us human! The spectrum of emotions we experience is pretty amazing when you think about it. They allow us to feel the high moments, but that comes with having to feel the low moments as well. In today’s episode I’ll be talking about some of my own experience dealing with negative emotions, tips for navigating them, and what they mean to me. *I am not a psychologist, therapist, or expert in any way. If you are experiencing mental health issues such as depression that you need help navigating, please seek help from an expert

We’ve all heard the adage “you are the company you keep” or “your become the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with/“ In today’s hyperconnected world, how do our digital connections play into this idea? In today’s episode we will explore how in-person and digital connections impact our thoughts and behaviors.
Today I’m sharing some out my thoughts about “failure.” I believe a lot of what we think of as failures, are actually just a normal part of life and we should embrace the process of learning and progress before mastery. If you are “failing” that is also an indicator that you are out there trying, and that is the biggest success in my eyes.
