Recently, a Mississippi school district decided to pull To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee from its curriculum. The only reason given was because it supposedly made some people feel uncomfortable. I don't believe that is a valid reason for pulling it from their curriculum. Nor do I believe that any one person or group has the right to tell others what they can and can't read!
