The month of August is special because it’s when India celebrates its independence. Considering the times we live in, which is tough and tense. I think it’s important that we all know and realise that despite the untoward circumstances that there is love and camaraderie between all of us, regardless of politics and borders. This is a special episode of Maed in India where we’re collaborating with Toto Funds The Arts - an incredible non-profit trust created in memory of Angirus ‘Toto’ Vellani by his friends and family after his tragic and untimely passing in 2004. Toto Funds The Arts nurtures and encourages young artists in India in music, literature and film through awards, workshops and other events. We here at Maed in India, work hard to support Indian musicians in this country.
