Read the Transcripts Previously: after seeing the mysterious figure on the widow's walk, Beth rushes back to the lighthouse. She finds Keira with bloodied hands, which, she claims, came from the dead body of Beth's parrot Margot, but the parrot has now disappeared. They hide in the lantern room in case an intruder is still in the building. Keira says she's been feeling "a presence" during her stay, and that she thinks it's Wes. Beth admits she has also felt that she's not alone in the lighthouse. They begin to hear something climbing the lighthouse stairs. Suddenly, the radio turns itself on, and plays what appears to be fragments of Beth and Keira's past conversations. And then - a horrifying scratching and banging at the locked door. Keira tries to convince Beth to open the window so they can escape via the unstable scaffolding, but Beth desperately wants to stay. She believes the entity could be Gabby. Keira finally reveals that she pushed the glass at the seance - Gabby never came through. It was her. CONTENT WARNINGS: grief/bereavement, supernatural horror, toxic friendships GHOSTED is a five-episode psychological drama and ghost horror story, written and directed by Lindsay Sharman, with music, sound design and editing by Laurence Owen. Read the Transcripts Previously: a nauseous, migraine-y Beth crawls out onto the structurally unstable widow's walk to pick up the dead seagull. Its condition is much worse than she and Keira expected - it looks like it's been run over. Blood drips from the bin bag, and Beth heads to the kitchen to fetch a mop. The phone rings, and Beth hears Wes's voice speaking to her. Shocked, she goes for a walk along the beach to clear her head. While walking, she thinks she sees Keira out on the widow's walk. She calls the lighthouse, expecting to see the figure walk inside. But when Keira answers the phone in the kitchen, Beth realises the figure is... something else. In a flashback, Beth tells Keira that she is staying in her university room because her chronic migraines have worsened. But despite that, she wants to keep trying to contact Gabby. Read the transcripts Previously: Lighthouse BnB owner Beth has been unexpectedly visited by an estranged friend, Keira. Over an awkward dinner, Keira tells Beth what's happened since they last met. Not only is Keira a widow, but her late husband was their mutual university friend Wes (who was present at the seance when they communed with the entity claiming to be Gabby). To Beth's disgust, Keira also reveals that she has come to the lighthouse to write a book about spiritualism. Beth investigates a loud thumping noise upstairs, which turns out to be the open bathroom window. Keira claims she never opened it. Next morning, housekeeper Merta tells Keira the story of the ghostly keeper said to be haunting the lighthouse. While Beth tries to stave off an oncoming migraine, Keira tells her that the injured seagull on the widow's walk is now dead. And in Episode 1, Beth tells Merta that she has been receiving gross calls from "a heavy breather". Read the transcripts Previously: Reclusive Beth is shocked to discover that the first visitor to her converted lighthouse Bed & Breakfast is a figure from a past she has tried to forget - Keira. During their chilly reunion, Keira learns that the lighthouse creaks ominously, and that you can only get phone reception if you lean out of a bathroom window. Suddenly, a seagull slams violently into the glass and falls injured onto the outer walkway (known as the Widow's Walk). They decide to ignore it, hoping it will fly away, and Beth says she'll be back this evening to cook dinner. In a flashback, we find Beth, Keira and friend Wes in a university bedroom. They are holding a seance, and they appear to make contact with an entity calling itself Gabby - the name of Beth's childhood friend, killed in a road accident. Two emotionally immature, entitled young women casually abusing each other is, it turns out, a great premise for horror.
