Do you have any control over peace? It may depend upon how peace is defined by you. Some define peace as being a time when there is no war or fighting in the world. (There may or may not have been such a time.)  Others define peace in a personal way, meaning freedom from mental or emotional disturbance or a state of tranquility. Listen as Larry gives a lesson about focusing on personal peace regardless of the environment around us. Support the show
Unity and New Thought teach the tools of denial and affirmation. Denials have a similar purpose as that of soap and water. It refers to cleansing or releasing a belief that no longer serves us. Affirmation is about making a new choice about the beliefs to which we will say yes. Denials and affirmations can be summed up in this gardening term: pull the weed and plant the seed. Once we decide we will release a belief previously held,  we then decide what to replace it with or what we will say yes to.Please follow the link below if you are guided to send a gift of appreciation.Support the show
"The fourth dimension (which embraces and encompasses the other three dimensions) is also realization, the doing away with time and space and all conditions. The human mind, with its limited reasoning faculties, is bound by time, space and conditions and can get no farther into the spiritual than reason will take it, but when we go beyond reason into the realm of realization, then we have attained the consciousness of pure being, the fourth dimension mind." The Revealing Word by Unity.Listen as Larry shares thoughts about the fourth dimension, why and how it applies to us in practical ways.  Support the show
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Reyes contains simple but powerful helps for becoming awake and aware spiritually.  It begins with the premise that we've been "domesticated" or given guidelines by those around us in order to fit in. However,  we have the power to form new agreements with ourselves which will transform our lives. The book offers 4 new agreements as guidelines. 1st Agreement: Be impeccable with your word.2nd Agreement: Don't take anything personally3rd Agreement: Don't make assumptions4th Agreement: Always do your best"The fourth agreement allows the other three  to become deeply ingrained habits. Under any circumstance, always do your best, no more and no less. But keep in mind that your best is never going to be the same from one moment to the next." (Ruiz)Listen as Mary Ellen shares thoughts about how the incorporation of all the agreements can actually transform our lives without anyone or anything else having to change. This is true freedom!Note: The above referenced book is available from most booksellers and can be  borrowed from your local library. Support the show

Asking questions and gathering facts are not signs of weakness."The whole world of control between humans is about making assumptions and taking things personally. Our whole dream of hell is based on that." (Don Miguel Reyes)Note: The above referenced book is available from most booksellers and can be  borrowed from your local library. Support the show
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Reyes is a little book with simple yet powerful points for becoming awake and aware spiritually.  It begins with the premise that we have been "domesticated" or given guidelines by those around us in order to fit in."Just being ourselves is the biggest fear we have as humans...We end up feeling inauthentic because we try to put on a mask - so afraid that someone will realize we are not what we pretend to be." 2nd Agreement: Don't take anything personally "Whatever happens around you, don't take it personally. If I see you on the street and say, 'Hey, you are so stupid,' without knowing you, it's not about you; it's about me. If you take it personally, then perhaps you believe you are stupid. Maybe you think to yourself, 'How does he know? Is he clairvoyant, or can everybody see how stupid I was."(Don Miguel Reyes)Listen as Mary Ellen shares thoughts on The Four Agreements , focusing on the  2nd Agreement: Don't take anything personally. (P.S. this Includes not taking your cat/dog  behavior personally.) Note: If interested, the above referenced book is available from most booksellers and can be  borrowed from your local library. Support the show

According to the 22nd chapter of Matthew, Jesus said the greatest commandment is love.  “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”My spirituality continues to be more exacting as I seek to use words to explain, or at least attempt to explain my ever growing understanding of the Infinite.  An example...I can no longer use an apostrophe ( ' ) to identify what God is, as in God's Love, etc.  This is important to me, for if something possesses something, it can be taken away.My understanding of the Energy I call God IS these aspects or things....Love...Peace...Joy...etc.  Never can be diminished or taken away.  So, how do I express these thoughts?  "God-Love"...note, no ownership, just another way if identifying a quality or quantity of something that our language asks of us.If you are guided to share a gift of appreciation for our podcasts, please follow the link below.Support the show
