There is always some jerma teacher noise as if it’s a “That’s my boy” teacher scene.  Teachers get reprimanded for some of the most insane things, when the students/kids/teens/parents involved should actually be receiving the consequence or reprimand. However, arrests do come. That’s why you can hear many in the teacher fight video online comments saying, “I couldn’t be a teacher. I’d be in jail. I wish a child did cuss me out in the middle of the day, I’d be in prison.” It takes another caliber of patience, power, and inner peace to weather the storm that is called modern day public education.  In this PD session you’ll learn from the Most Highly Effective educator how NOT to get arrested when you are teaching. John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—  That other advocate is in verse 17 of John 14 “the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you + will be in you. Sinners can’t accept the Holy Spirit, only believers. The Spirit of Truth (holy spirit) will be with you while you teach comforting you, providing guidance/support; teaching you through everyday happenings in your classroom, reminding you of what Jesus stated in His Word A pivotal activity the Spirit of Truth does is CONVICTS US of our sin from the thought and pondering stage, during, AND after the sin is committed. WHY IS THAT GOOD? If you are listening, it may have crossed your mind to do some action that is against the school policy or the law, especially in public title 1 schools. I’m guilty too! It’s not just you, teacher friend. When you invite the holy spirit into your classroom, he leads you to trust that Jesus can knock sense into that child instead of you. He also leads you to repentance, bringing you closer to God where there is unexplainable peace & fullness of joy. If you follow daily 1-4, you will not only prevent being arrested, but free students and parents from the mental prisons they place themselves in.

Matthew 27:42-43   /   Mark 15:30   /   Luke 23:37,39 “Why would a Great Teacher decide to NOT SAVE HIM/HERSELF?” John 12:24   English Standard Version Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. How does this help me teach? Mark 8:35: "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever is willing to lose for this world will have life." If you quit teaching before you know in your heart you are supposed to, then you will lose the life you were meant to have. You’ll have a job and keep existing, but as the weeks go by you’ll know that something is extremely different. Even with a huge pay raise, your life will not be fulfilling as it was.  As you are in service to God, the Father honors on Earth AND in Heaven. On Earth you receive provision (your family will not go hungry!) In my situation, I have not been evicted from my home and for 7 months I was earning $40 per week.            * Do you choose to stay on your cross until you produce fruit?       OR           * Do you love your life so much that you are willing to lose it for eternity? As a Black Educator, #LTaS propelled me to lean into the system God has created rather than man trusting that all will be right if I surrender to Him alone. As a Black Educator, #LTaS propelled me to lean into the system God has created rather than man trusting that all will be right if I surrender to Him alone. As a Loving Husband, #LTaS gave me the confidence to spend less of the family’s money on my classroom and more towards the investments and business my family chooses. I am now utilizing my time to create Donors Choose campaigns, grants and Amazon Wish lists to fulfill the classroom supply needs since God supplies everything I need for my classroom AND home. As a Christian, #LTaS has grown my FAITH to have me give more, because we can’t out give God and we are always sufficient in all things according to what is written. I have no reason to have a poverty mindset, nor be envious of other classrooms. As a Learning Father to a son with Autism, #LTaS helped me realize I haven’t always been grateful for what I have already. During this Free PD session, Teacher Retention Specialist David McDuffie gets RAW on his experiences with the first of the 3 temptations teachers go through in the profession. Temptations are used to get positively passionate educators to lose their inner drive, stay stagnant, become apathetic about teaching, ruin their reputation, and/or dishonorably end their teaching career. The impact of listening: As a Black Educator, my trials aren't related to my ethnicity, but more related to what I carry on the inside that prompts me to seek help rather than isolate believing most staff is against me. As a Male Educator, I understand that I may be tempted more than most, since the agenda is for children to grow up with disorder, confusion, chaos, and without the blessing of understanding their purpose on Earth. As a Husband/Father, the importance of praying in the evening and/or early morning are pivotal to keeping the progress the family has, because demons are seeking for gaps in protection. As a Christian, I'm reminded that it's my actions of prayer/fasting/giving thanks/meditating on the word, not just words of past faith that protect me from satan's advances. This Free Professional Development series with Teacher Retention Specialist David McDuffie prepares teachers for the 3 temptations in the life of an educator. If school districts taught this, there would be 1. a drastic decrease schoolwide/local/regional scandals, 2. a drastic increase in teacher and substitute retention for the entire district, 3. a drastic decrease in teacher turnover rate per school, and 4. an overwhelming growth in Generation Alpha school culture or network impact. The Lust of the Flesh is the temptation highlighted this free PD session; speaking on a majority of schools in the United States having a No Touch policy with Gen Alpha students; practicing professional work relationships and having patience until the relationship is more appropriate; and NOT having sexual relations with students (Not Ever), but seeking someone to lean on (God above and moral friends beside) to help get you through natural urges or temptations. The impact of listening: As a Black Educator, my eyes are open to the fact that different trials are not racially based, but spiritually testing. I was fighting the wrong foes. As a Male Educator, I'm empowered to tell other males in education about these temptations so they dont fall like millions of males have previously. Gen Alpha needs the structure and rizz that only male adults bring to a community. As a Husband/Father, I will now pray more often to ensure I have the spiritual strength to teach and not be tempted in these 3 ways negatively imoacting my job, career, nor reputation. As a Christian, I know I will be persecuted for following Jesus and proclaiming his name in school but, I should do this humbly and watchful understanding that if I slip one week on my prayer life, then my spirit will be weak to succumb to certain temptations. So I stay humble and stay praying, because positive family growth is happening in my school district.   Objective: We can & will have more control in our teaching profession.
