Mama Time talks openly and honestly about all things to do with being a mum and covers a range of topics all mums (and dads!) can relate to! As well as sharing my own account of motherhood, I talk with lots of mums about their experiences, along with some very knowledgeable experts. This episode is really me having a general chit chat about lots of different topics! I've really missed having a cuppa and good catch up with a friend during this lockdown.
I spend quite a big part of this episode talking about endometriosis, I share my personal story, the confusion around diagnosis, symptoms, fertility and getting pregnant. I talk about my thoughts on having another baby, all things I'm sure go through other mums minds too when thinking about having a second child!
I also talk about toddler sleep regressions, potty training and surviving a winter lockdown with a toddler!
In this weeks episode, I'm joined by Kathryn Levy, mama of two girls and owner of the Cambridge Health Clinic, Kathryn is a Doctor of Physical Therapy & Health Coach, specialising in women's pelvic health physiotherapy. Kathryn is amazing! She answers lots of questions I have about the pelvic floor muscle, tummy gaps, pelvic floor trainers and much more. The really positive takeaway from this episode is that we can be in control of our recovery and postnatal physical health.
Anyone else struggled with keeping their babies & toddlers entertained during lockdown?! Antonia's positive energy is infectious! It's amazing to see how she captivates babies and toddlers in her classes. We chat about engaging with our babies & toddlers, how to use our imaginations and play, and the simple essential household items & props needed! Antonia also shares with us her very honest take on homeschooling- as always we like to keep it real on the Mama Time podcast!
In this weeks episode, I talk with my beautiful friend Rebecca, CBT Therapist and mummy to 17 month old Aidan. Rebecca shares her home birth experience and how hypnobirthing helped when things didn't go to plan.
The main focus is talking all about postnatal depression, the signs to look out for and the support that's available, as well as some at home tips to help boost our mood.
In todays episode, I chat with my lovely mummy friend Amie, aka The Cambridge Hygienist! Amie gives us the lowdown on baby teeth, how to look after them and her top teething survival tips!
As this is the very first episode of Mama Time, I wanted to share my experience and speak completely honestly about being a new mum. As well as reminiscing about those early days, I talk about some of the benefits of not having the pressures of going out with a newborn, in the hope it will offer a more positive perspective on the current situation, if you're expecting a baby or have just become a new mum.
