An announcement from US President Donald Trump this week about pregnancy, autism and paracetamol has upset a lot of people. We discuss the impact on women, how medical experts in Australia have rejected the claims and the dangers of medical misinformation. Also, an original Amelia Lester theory about your phone battery that makes PERFECT sense. It actually has nothing to do with your phone, and everything to do with naps.  Plus, Dressing for work is BACK BABY but is your office attire appropriate and is your shoe-to-foot ratio correct? Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show was pulled off the air last week and there has been a LOT of conversation around it politically, morally, constitutionally - but what does it all mean? Picture this. You’re on a date or sitting in a job interview. Four minutes in, you know — this isn’t it.  Do you cut your losses and walk, or sit there smiling politely for the next painful hour? Same with a conversation that's making you quietly die inside or reading a book that came highly recommended —do you carry on or quit? That, in essence, is the Lemon Law — and today, we’re breaking it down. Also on the docket: tween beauty. Why are 12-year-olds taking over Sephora, and is their influence driving up prices across the industry? And if that is the case, could they please stop? Like, now? Amelia, Jessie, and Mia unpack the tween takeover and what it means for the future of our beauty treats. And finally, our weekly recommendations: a book Amelia didn’t Lemon Law, an unhinged sheep story (from Mia, naturally), and the documentary Jessie couldn't stop watching. Support independent women's media Recommendations Amelia recommends Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Jessie recommends aka Charlie Sheen on Netflix. Leave it to Donald Trump to redefine international etiquette — this time as a dibber-dobber. Threatening to tattle on a reporter to Australia's PM Anthony Albanese, Trump turned political theatrics into a cross-border spectacle. Mia, Jessie and Amelia investigate this most unAustralian of crimes on today's show.  And, an update on Bruce Willis’ condition from his wife in her confronting new memoir that hits home for anyone touched by dementia. Jessie shares her personal experience and unpacks the backlash Emma Heming Willis is getting online for the decisions she's making on behalf of her celebrity husband. Plus, a breast pump row. It may sound like something from another era — but it happened to Dr Elise Turner this week in Melbourne when the mum of twins was told to leave an airport lounge for daring to express milk for her babies. But there’s one crucial detail that most of us missed...And, Births, Deaths & Marriages. Mia’s got a new segment and a lot to say. From celebrity babies to red carpet chaos, she’s tying it all together… loosely. Is it an excuse to (scurrilously) gossip about celebrities? Absolutely. Does she seamlessly segue into a controversial red carpet analysis? Of course she does.  We also reveal the 17 household habits that will clear mental clutter as much as they will your kitchen bench tops. Light and shade, friends. There's a new species of male that's captured Amelia's attention. He's a literature loving, matcha drinking, standup guy that seems to capture the female gaze perfectly. Except: none of it's real. Well, now Jessie wants to renew her wedding vows.  And, welcome to The Great Lock In. It's your chance to put the last remaining months before the New Year to good use. 🎉 Guess who's back, back again… 🎉 Outlouders, you asked. We listened. And now, it’s happening: Amelia Lester and Stacey Hicks are officially back — and they’ve brought the one and only Monique Bowley with them. Yep, Monz has returned to the Mamamia family to bring you Parenting Out Loud. If you love it (OF COURSE YOU WILL), make it your new Saturday ritual. Just search Parenting Out Loud, tap ‘+ follow’, and boom — parenting content with a pulse, delivered weekly. Because when you become a parent, it changes everything. And that includes how you see what's going on in the world. So, every week we deep-dive into the trends, headlines and viral MumToks through the lens of being just that — a parent. This week: Gen Z’s latest reason for giving parenthood the side-eye The guilt trip of not loving every second with your kids  Amelia’s campaign to stop parental group texts (bold move) Stacey’s epic analogy for baby number three (you’ll never see tricycles the same way again) Hit play and welcome to the group chat you won't want to mute. Plus, it’s our recommendations: 🪩 Stacey recommends a boogie with your friends at a disco club. 🛏️ Amelia is bringing back the tried and tested hot water bottle. 🧇 Monz is a fan of this fool-proof snack: Take 8 Weet-Bix, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1 cup of desiccated coconut and a can of condensed milk. Donald Trump, the world’s “greatest dealmaker” (his words), has somehow managed to walk away from Vladimir Putin with... not a lot so far in his bid to end the war in Ukraine. Follow up to Clare's problem with her delivery... I've been a postie for 14 years, so hopefully I can sooth your delivery distress. For access to your blanket after work hours, you can apply for the delivery to be made to Australia Post parcel lockers. They're usually located at shopping centres. You're allocated a code, you punch it in, and one of the lockers will open and behold your beloved blanket. I really love Mammia Outloud and everyone's varied options and experiences. Leering is very different to looking up because a beautiful person (young or old) walks past. Appreciating beauty is ok…I look at beautiful women & I’m a hetro woman. Leering has a creepy energy behind it that makes your gut churn. Teach your girls about gut feelings & let them enjoy the attention of being gazed upon briefly because of their changing looks.

cant find a place to comment on the subacriber- only episodes (billionaires giving away money), so here it is: setting aside the tax question (to which I agree with Holly tbh - taxes pay for the roads and other infrastructure Bezos useslike everyone else!), Mia still had no adequate answer to the longstanding fact that Bezos has never paid his workers adequately, and given the obscene profits he rakes in, he could well afford to do so. Why should people who are working a (hard) full time job, still have to rely on food banks etc because they're not adequately paid - when their CEO is making a show of his 'philanthropy'?
