I came across this poem in my notes and today being a Sunday, I thought of recording this and putting it out there. It’s a summer Sunday and I am recording this at 2pm in the afternoon. I can hear a few birds and the occasional voice of crickets. I can smell the arid summer breeze while anticipating the monsoon winds. It’s quiet and people are resting in their houses. The world seems content after a week of hustling before onto another one.
Hey guys, hope all of you are well. This is a short story I wrote a couple of years ago. Just came across it in my notes and thought I’d record it. Let me know what you think of it. You can reach me at cappedextrovert on Instagram!

An ode is a kind of poem, usually praising something. ... An ode is a form of lyric poetry — expressing emotion — and it's usually addressed to someone or something, or it represents the poet's musings on that person or thing. An ode to beginning anew is an ode that I have written for the youngsters out there venturing into an unknown world. Into a world where you are yet to figure out yourself. There are self help books out there that will guide us, but it is us in the end who has to understand what is true for our life. To introspect often is key so as to question truths that you so claim in your life. AN ODE TO BEGINNING ANEW | *First* video in front of camera | Best experienced with headphones! 🎧 My podcast - Man's Multifaceted Monologue is available on Spotify, Anchor, Apple, Google, Podcketcast, Breaker and RadioPublic for your entertainment.
