Man with a Heart interviews Juan, a healthy Latino man in his 40s who spent 10 days in the hospital with COVID-19, and whose father now is hospitalized with the virus. Juan is on a mission to educate others, especially the Latinx community, about the dangers of COVID-19. In the spring, 50% of those who contracted COVID-19 in Washington County, Oregon were Latino.
Juan explains why people in the community are afraid to go to the hospital--and why that's dangerous. His experience changed his life, he says. "I just want to help others."
