Last time we looked at the importance of leaving behind the single life and our families of original in order to move forwards into the adventure of marriage - what we call leaving. This time we are focusing on the importance of joining together with our spouse - in other words, cleaving.

Marriage is a covenant relationship. But what does that mean? And how is covenant different to a contract? We spoke with Fernando and Andrea de Paula to find out more.

Jesus said: "'...For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’" (Matthew 19:5). When we are married our yes to our spouse and our to our new life with them is so big that it means leaving the single life behind. But what does that mean in practice?
