In the aftermath, we found ourselves grappling with myriad challenges that had long been present in our lives. From making funeral arrangements to drafting an obituary, from taking time off work to managing unforeseen financial burdens, we were suddenly thrust into a whirlwind of tasks while struggling to cope with the ordinary demands of life. Over the span of 25 years, we had continually faced difficulties in locating and accessing necessary resources. July 5, 2024 7pm central time Tonights show features a 19 year old who grew up in the foster care system.  She was coerced into signing papers putting her in a guardianship when she turned 18. She has no physical or cognitive disabilities. She is trapped.  We can not give the state or any other details as a cell phone is in hiding, waiting for her to make the call into the show. We hope to have reporters tuning in. This is her desperate cry for help. A cry to be Free.  This is an absolute tragedy what is being done to our children. Tune in and help us find solutions to this crime against humanity. 

Tonight  Marcel Reid  will be updating us on this year's Whistleblowers Summitt in Washington DC in July.  Marcel Reid has had a major impact over the last decade in grassroots community organizing, the whistleblowing community, and a national media foundation. Her efforts have resulted in major policy changes.    As a National Director, Chair of DC ACORN and one of a three-member Interim Management Committee (IMC) to reorganize ACORN after the discovery of a major embezzlement, Marcel came face to face with the difficulties in reporting corruption. This was her first exposure to fighting entrenched corruption and her introduction to the whistleblower community.  Marcel was elected to serve as a director on the National Board of Pacifica Radio. In that position, she introduced a motion to have Pacifica support whistleblowers; making it the first national media organization to incorporate it into their platform. After the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act (WPEA) passed in 2012, Pacifica’s steadfast support of whistleblowers was credited by many in the whistleblowing community as helping to reinvigorate the WPEA campaign after over a decade of unsuccessful attempts.  After serving on the board for three terms, Marcel became the first national media whistleblower liaison for the Pacifica Foundation, the only position of its’ kind, in media to date. She continues her efforts to shed light on corruption worldwide by actively supporting the efforts of whistleblowers globally. As an outgrowth, Marcel is co- organizer of the annual Whistleblower Summit for Civil and Human Rights that takes place on Capitol Hill. Marcel was a member of the Acorn 8. She  exposed one of the larger scandals  in modern history. She is also the founder of the Whistleblowers Summitt.
