Description

Each week, Allen, Josef, and Jonathan discuss a comic book character (or team). Jonathan, a lifelong Marvel devotee, presents the character, their powers, and their history. Josef, who's only ever read one comic book and is significantly more grounded in reality, calls bull. And Allen, level headed voice of reason, mediates the mess.

The first family of Marvel finally joins the MCU. You know you've all been dying to hear what Josef has to say about this one. Join us for a, detailed and, quite frankly, surprising discussion on Fantastic Four: First Steps!  *SPOILER ALERT* Should go without saying, but we go well into  spoiler territory on this one. We definitely recommend saving this episode until you've seen the film.
Inspired by last episode's discussion around Peepers, we dig deep into 1977's Captain America Annual #4, written and drawn by Jack Kirby. In the course of this discussion, we'll tell you all about Magneto's supporting team of weirdos who one day go on to become Mutant Force! And did we mention Mister One? He's the bizarre little fella pictured on the episode thumbnail. We talk about him, too. You'll love it. Josef insisted we call the episode "Mutant Force" instead of "1977's Captain America Annual #4, written and drawn by Jack Kirby". You be the judge of whether that was the right call...
It's everyone's favorite episode: Weirdo Shotgun! Navigate a barrage of 17 bizarre characters alongside Josef and see if you can determine which are actually Marvel characters and which are listener creations!

Once more, our brave podcasters venture into the wilds of the Sony Spider-verse in pursuit of worthy cinema. Does Kraven The Hunter finally deliver a win for this beleaguered series? Hi, guys. I found you after doing a search for podcasts doing a Multiple Man aka Madrox episode and started listening to your show. Interesting takes.

as much as I enjoy listening to fans break down marvel content, I have to give up on this one. There's too much negativity from one of the commenters, and it borderlines on disrespect for the hard work of the people that make the movie. I couldn't take it anymore, it was too annoying. I don't have to listen, but I also felt compelled to share this feedback.

I like to think that old Steve Rodgers not having Mjolnir is significant

the mind stone is used to empower the twins in Age of Ultron, which is another establishment for how Danvers got her powers
