In the world of nutrition we hear about what we should eat and what not to eat, how much to eat and so on and so forth. The internet is ripe with nutrition information and voices that contradict each other, especially when it comes to the consumption of dietary fat. We are one of those voices trying to educate you on the importance of eating a low-fat, plant based, whole food diet. The consumption of excess fat can lead to the deposition or the accumulation of excess fat inside of your liver and muscle and how that can impair the ability of insulin to do it’s job and when that happens you increase the risk for the development of insulin resistance.
