God urges us to meditate on His word. Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. Meditation is paying attention, mumbling, saying silently, speaking the words softly to yourself. Positive affirmations are phrases or mantras that you repeat to yourself, which describe a specific outcome or who you want to be. At first, these affirmations might not be true, but with constant repetition, your subconscious mind will start to believe them. And eventually, these affirmations will become your reality. Affirmations are a way of meditating on the word of God. We should all actively practice it.
