Christina and Jamie - Excellent job with the podcast. I really appreciate the honesty because it’s so hard to find in our world anymore especially in the media. I have a suggested topic for an upcoming episode. I would like to hear your thoughts around your changing self identity since having MS. I think this is one of the greatest struggles for everyone when there’s a sudden change to their life or their physical capabilities and no one seems to talk about the loss of one’s identity. Thx, Kat

I have to get tested for MS. The chronic pain is too bad and it’s not my arthritis or fibromyalgia. My rheumatologist says I need to see a neurologist so I’m waiting for the appointment. No matter what I do, the pain is always there. Microwave buttons make me feel like my wrist and fingers will break. The stabbing pain in my limbs feet and toes, hands and fingers and wrists. Very poor balance and I don’t feel the bottom of my feet too well numbness for years and face paralysis with headache.

My referral just got sent to the neurologist to begin the testing. Have symptoms going back since 20 and other tracers before that the pain is excruciating all the time. It doesn’t matter what I do. If I push the microwave button, I feel my wrist and finger will break. Pill bottles hurt to open sharp pains in my feet and toes, along with my hands and all the bones and joints in between. Migraines every day and blurry vision. My great aunt had it. I also have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.

I hàve to talk about your displeasure with Ozempic etc. you have an eating disorder. I am truly sorry for that but you have no idea those medicines are for many many people. I have been obese since I was in kindergarten. I would have never thought that for years but it is the truth. it has only been a few years that they have understood morbid obesity is genetic! Yep I finally find the reason for this lifelong problem in my 70s. i have so much more to say but limited character to use. Be kind.

Hello... Christina talking about her poop issues, I can relate. I also have ulcerative colitis. Diapers are not fun,but I wanted to let you know that now having ms my poop problem has a mind of its own. When I got to go I GOT to go. I found these underwear from Esty, company name Pregzen who makes underwear "pretty" and easy to get off. They have "snaps" on the side for easy to get off. I found them after a issue in public with a poop accident & I had clean myself up. Never again! Hope it helps

Hi MS crew, Christina I love hearing from someone that is in the same boat and feeling as I am. I was diagnosed in 2022 and it came on very quickly for me. I had 22 systoms at the time. I ulcerative colitis also and the medicine I was on for uc bought out the ms. I want to thank you for coming out publicly when you did cuz it made me not feel alone or crazy. This podcast has helped make me feel like I am not alone (lol there's times I am finishing your sentences or saying the same thing). Tks
