[DND3 Pg 58] Good Dumb Fun [Week 10]

In which we discuss the dumbest and best detail about the Perform skill revealed on page 58 in Chapter Four: Skills in the Player's Handbook for third edition Dungeons & Dragons. You can find a glowing and insightful intro to Dorothy Parker at https://www.newyorker.com/books/second-read/dorothy-parker-and-the-art-of-the-literary-takedown, but you're missing out if you don't read her work yourself. Everybody knows and loves Resumé, but for my money she's at her best in prose works like "Arrangement in Black and White" and "The Little Hours." Marissa Paternoster is the lead singer of Screaming Females. I'm a big fan of their music in general, but their album All at Once would be a good place to start. It was a long time ago now, but if you want to see the band doing their thing outside the context of a music video, here's their AV Club cover of Shake It Off. Esteman has done a bunch of great stuff, but you might start with Te Alejas Más De Mí or Aeropuerto. This guy is such a whiny rules-lawyer. A GM can change or rearrange ANYTHING they want. I can see this dude trying to correct the GM. Pushes his glasses up his nose, 'actually his character can't take boxing... according to page 185, paragraph 4, line 3.
