Memories of Florida in Song

Memories of Florida is a collection of songs of Old Florida and songs by those who miss their Sunshine State. The album was assembled from performances in the Florida Folklife Collection made available by the Florida Memory Program, State Archives of Florida. In this collection are performances by Green Grass Revival, Chuck Hardwicke, Dr. Blues and Liz Pennock, Jan Milner and Charley Groth, Grant Livingston, Richard Markle and the Swamprooters, Buddy Moody, Robin Plitt, Frank and Ann Thomas, and Dale and Sue Webber. Many of the artists whose performances are archived in the Florida Folklife Collection have also produced commercially-available studio albums.
