Although it is the New Year we look around and ask ourselves how come things don't look that new? In light of the pandemic, we seem to be where we were about a year ago, concerning restrictions, lockdowns and vaccines. We can attempt to make things new by getting better masks, better hand sanitizers or getting ourselves psychologically ready for new boosters because of new variants. But is this what the word new boils down to for us in 2022?The message from Messianic Leader J. Isaac Gabizon will give us something truly fresh and new. We will hear how Yeshua tells his disciples that they are no longer slaves but instead gives them a new name. He calls them, and us his friend. As such, our responsibility in this friendship is total obedience and allegiance to the Word of the Lord. And as our friend, what does Yeshua do for us? He shares all that He is able to share, concerning what the Father has told Him. In John 17, the Messiah's Prayer exposes such intimate matters as the unity of the love within the Godhead and how that incredible divine glory gets to be part of our unity with God: His glory in us. Since this new name friend, sets before us the challenge to obey, our primary duty is to love one another in the Body, in the way He does. Yes, all that should, but that is only one short, part of the whole teaching on the future we find in the Scriptures, Yes, we will discuss in depth the final wars, Gog and Magog, Armageddon, and all that is leading us in that direction. But in a bird’s eye view, this Great Tribulation will last no more than three and a half years. After that, we have dozens of passages which speak of a much, much longer period of supreme grace and peace. There will be a time of 1000 years followed by another period of infinite bliss which will never, never, end.
