Good evening, everybody. Its Thursday and time for another edition of Metal Mayhem ROC!Tonight-- show host Jon “The Vernomatic’ Verno has two fun informative interviews to share.THE THREE TREMORS, the project featuring acclaimed heavy metal singers Tim "Ripper" Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin (JAG PANZER) and Sean "The Hell Destroyer" Peck (CAGE, DEATH DEALER, DENNER/SHERMANN), will release its second album, "Guardians of The Void", on November 5 via Steel Cartel Records.TREMORS shot out of a cannon at a frantic pace. They were pursuing an aggressive pace of live performances when the shutdown forced them to cut short their North American tour in the middle of their run in early 2020. They wasted no time, however, and got to work on another new album. Now their sophomore effort "Guardians of The Void" is ready for blast-off.Vernomatic’s second interview is a cool chat with listener Charlie Avino. On April 28th, 1981 Marty Duda was a young disc Jockey responsible for booking Ozzy Osbourne & The Blizzard of Ozz TV show "After Hours" at 31 Studios here in Rochester, New York. Charlie and Marty were friends and classmates at S.U.N.Y Brockport at the time, and was in attendance for the taping of that performance.Charlie heard our original interview with Marty from April of 2021 and reached out to me to share his memories of the event. Stories like what it was like to meet with Ozzy, Randy and the rest of the band, talking drumming with Tommy Aldridge, and to just see and feel the power of an ascending true heavy metal super star in Randy Rhodes. This is some of the only pro shot video footage in existence of the late Randy Rhoads and Charlie was there to experience it all and share his memories with us.We invite you to rate and review this and all past episodes at www.podchaser.com Simply enter Metal Mayhem ROC in the search box, scroll down, press the MMROC logo and rate the episode and leave a reviewAs always, we encourage you to listen, like and share this and all past episode to your metal and NON metal friends.
