The RECAP Episode

The Boys have reconvened, and recap their time away.
Back around to Aaron's pick this episode, and he went back to his metal roots, with And Justice For All, by the biggest of the Big 4, Metallica.  Since we all have a TON of history with this album, and band, this episode is not for the faint hearted.
Jake is back in control, and it's his album pick this episode! He brought to the stage, The Stage by the incredible Avenged Sevenfold.  He assembled the gang, and they snap fought their way from start to finish.  Just great album after great album 'round these parts, and it don't look like it'll be slowin' down any time soon.

Britton's album pick this episode, and he pulled from his bag of tricks New Levels New Devils by the incredible POLYPHIA.  The group jumped on the task, and went the rounds necessary to accurately place it among the pantheon.  Controversial scoring? Who got it right? Find out now.
Fire Song Chats #1

Fire Song Chats #1

2023-06-0101:28:09

This episode, with Jake in the winds, Britton, Aaron and Rusty come together for the inaugural Fire Song Chats, where we each pick a song, and only discuss the song. no rankings, no competition, just the love of music.  Britton picked Anthem  by Rush Aaron picked Marigold by Caligulas Horse Rusty picked Reign in Madness by Symphony X
Rusty is back up at the helm, and graced the crew with his pick, Ashes of the Wake, by Lamb of God. The boys jumped at it, and with incredible fervor, wagged their chins and flapped their gums, discussing the amazing album put forth. They then, in a feat of raw intrigue, overturned every stone and branch in search for the delicious grubs of metal. There was much to be had, and they feasted.
Blackwater Park - Opeth

Blackwater Park - Opeth

2023-03-1702:22:13

Aaron's pick, and he pulled from deep down, one of the true masterpieces from the early 2000's, Blackwater Park from the prog/death metal giants, Opeth. With the help of the rest of the Fellas, we pulled and tugged and twisted it to our hearts' content, and we were the ones frayed at the edges, whilst the album stood strong.
Another Listener Suggestion.  And we took their suggestion.  Tyler Marlatt reached out to the show, and threw us a bone that tasted like Zombie. Rob to be specific.  And we feasted on that bone.  and it was ravenously delicious.  It was DELUXE.
In Waves - Trivium

In Waves - Trivium

2023-01-2203:26:57

Jakes pick this episode, and he brought out the 2011 album IN WAAAAAVES from the melodic dark trash metalcore heroes, TRIVIUM.  This album is definitely not stock.  And we tell you exactly what is under the hood, and why it cranks so damn hard.
Lateralus - Tool

Lateralus - Tool

2022-12-2202:53:28

Back yet again, for another loop. A Parabola, perhaps? We know one thing, it's a podcast.  It's Britton's choice this go round, and he chose Lateralus by the behemoths, Tool.  And we didn't hold a grudge, as the team jumped into the swirling madness, that is TOOL.  How many cranks to start your car?
BONUS EPISODE.  We reviewed A Perfect Circle's album, Thirteenth Step.  Derek Fowler picked the album.  We had him on to talk about the album and why he picked it.
Our First Listener Submission!!!!  The powerful DEREK FOWLER reached in, grabbed Thirteenth Step by A Perfect Circle, threw it to the guys, and they got into it faster than a childs hand in a cookie jar.  Deeper too!
Leviathan - Mastodon

Leviathan - Mastodon

2022-09-1802:25:43

Rusty's pick this episode, and the gang masticated, swallowed, digested, regurgitated, inspected, re-swallowed, and absorbed this album, like a delicious giant squid snack.  We are the white whale.

Blackbird- Alter Bridge

Blackbird- Alter Bridge

2022-07-2602:38:01

Aaron's album again. This episode he chose Alter Bridge's second album, Blackbird. The guys went through this album with the same precision as always, and you won't believe how many cranks it took to start our car.
It's Jakes album this episode.  He went with For Those That Wish To Exist by British Metalcore band, Architects,  and the crew dissected this album like a 4th year med student.  That means thoroughly, with minimal damage.
Britton's pick this episode.  He chose Colors by BTBAM, and the guys took the deep dive into this Prog Metalcore behemoth.
