2022-01-0601:57:58

On this holiday themed episode we are talking Black Friday where Bruce Campbell and Devon Sawa battle alien infected humans on the busiest shopping day of the year. We also discuss a list of "top 10 holiday horror movies" and everything we've been watching. Enjoy!
Episode 86 - Halloween Jack

Episode 86 - Halloween Jack

2021-10-2902:20:37

October has arrived which means it's time for our annual Halloween episode. We really scraped the bottom of the Tubi barrel for this one with reviews of the Halloween Jack films, The Curse of Halloween Jack and The Legend of Halloween Jack. We also talk James Wan's recent genre mashup Malignant and the incredibly divisive Halloween Kills. Enjoy and happy Halloween!!
We are back after a bit of a summer break with Garbage Pail Kids The Movie! In the 80's Topps Trading Cards decided it was a good idea to expand their popular property to the big screen resulting in a final product that needs to be seen to  be believed. We have child labor, fashion shows, random musical numbers, vomiting, farting, urination and so much more to discuss. Enjoy!
What makes a Full Moon movie? Killer dolls? Antagonists with oddly shaped heads? Phil Fondacaro? Charles Band directing? What happens when we blend all of these things into one movie? We get Blood Dolls. An insane mashup that may just be the ultimate Full Moon movie.
Sometime in the early 90's Charles Band secured almost a million dollars to make a movie about some kids who are gunned down and brought back to life as vengeful shrunken heads. He then hired the other Elfman, Richard, to direct, and Meg Foster to star. The result was an odd mashup of a children's comedy and mobster horror movie. But is it a mashup worth watching? Listen to find out!
An elderly couple turns to Satanism to resurrect their dead grandchild into an unborn fetus. The problem? They have no idea what they're doing. This Shudder original quietly dropped back in December but quickly drew buzz for it's modern and darkly comedic take on suburban Satanic worship. Is the buzz justified or is Anything for Jackson another hype-fueled disappointment? Listen to hear our thoughts!
One day a farmer is working in his field when he stumbles upon an unusual skeleton. Soon the children are passing around a demonic claw, growing strange patches of skin, assaulting women and committing murder. It's got violence. It's got giant swords. It's got adults cast as children. It's got unnecessary face slapping. And we are discussing all of it. Enjoy!
Podcast Episode 80 - VFW

Podcast Episode 80 - VFW

2021-01-2701:17:44

What happens when Stephen Lang, Fred Williamson, Martin Kove and William Sadler are dropped into a 70's and 80's homage to exploitation films? You get VFW. A film where a group of veterans are trapped in a VFW under seige by a gang of murderous drug addicted gang members. It's hyper-violent and hyper-stylized, but is it good? Listen to find out!
A gang of outlaws rob a train only to discover some unusual cargo...a young woman locked in a giant trunk. Her release unleashes a coven of undead witches who trap the men in a small town with few prospects of escape. The horror western has always been hit or miss with very few entries rising to the level of classic. Does the Pale Door rise to the occasion? Listen to find out!
For this extra special episode we're joined by our good friend Shaky of the "Shaky Subject Matter" podcast and we're preparing for the end of the world by discussing some of our favorite post-apocalyptic movies. We also review The Day and 2020 Texas Gladiators to see if either film correctly predicted the future. Going by their haircuts we're leaning toward no. We also cover  some recent news and everything we've been watching. Enjoy!
Right before we all went into quarantine we recorded this episode that we never released where discuss Rob Zombies latest atrocity, 3 From Hell, and a small indie gem called One Cut of the Dead. We also talked news and everything we had been watching, enjoy!
2019 Holiday Special

2019 Holiday Special

2020-01-2202:06:30

The holiday season may be well behind us, but due to some unforeseen events we couldnt get the episode out. That being said,  we didnt put ourselves through the torture of watching 3 direct to video Krampus movies for nothing. So put that tree back up,  hang the stockings and unwrap our last episode of 2019. Enjoy!
Were celebrating the holiday with two 80s themed slashers, Home Sweet Home and Blood Rage. We also talk about Blumhouse Invisible Man trailer, what we've been watching, and much more! So warm up the leftovers, grab a refreshment, and enjoy!
Once again, Halloween has descended upon us and for this extra special holiday edition we review Shudder's Creepshow reboot, talk through a horror movie faceoff and cover the ongoing war on Halloween. We also discuss our recent watches including Childs Play 2019, IT Chapter 2, Scary Stories to tell in the Dark and much more! Enjoy!
It's been a while but we're back and we've got a lot to cover! No reviews this episode but 6 months of no new episodes means we've got a lot of movies to talk about. We also talk recent news including the 3 From Hell teaser trailer. Enjoy!

First up is Dial Code Santa Claus, a movie that predates Home Alone and features a young boy battling a demented Santa Claus with homemade traps and weapons. We also talk what we've been watching, 2019 releases, and who would win on a battle between Kevin Mccallister and the 2 kids from Dial Code Santa Claus and Better Watch Out.
