Mindspace Mayo is a free and confidential support service for young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Mindspace’s aim is to support young people aged 15-25 who are going through a difficult time to ensure they get the support they need.We aim to open up a discussion on mental health and raise people’s awareness of the support that Mindspace Mayo can offer. We also work to improve the support available to young people by connecting with the many organisations throughout the county.

We explore the social aspect as well as the business end of running a GAA club, all voluntary. And we ask just why, the GAA is such a passion for those involved. Helping Hands is a series of documentaries that highlight the work of volunteerism in Mayo. In this programme Laurita Blewitt focuses on the work of the Handmaids who work at Knock Shrine, County Mayo.

On Wednesday August 22nd Midwest Radio presenter Tommy Murphy passed to his eternal reward. On the evening of Monday August 27th we hosted a special tribute in his honour. Many of Tommy's colleagues from the radio and music world joined us live in studio to pay tribute to his many achievements.
