We are living through an experience during the COVID-19 outbreak that is totally unique to anything we’ve experienced up until now. This is a new world for us.  Because of that, there’s a lot of fear and a need to control. I want to remind you that there are infinite options of perception at any given moment. You choose your reality. You choose which energy you tune into. The hard part is that it’s so easy to get pulled into the majority. The lower vibration has an intoxicating pull. I ask you to consider though: what is the good of allowing yourself to be drawn in? There’s a difference between holding awareness and falling into the fear trap. So my goal is to bring you leaders and inspirational voices to help maintain your higher vibrations through all of this. Gary Temple Bodley is back with us to give us a higher perspective on the Coronavirus. He will teach us how to turn fear and control into love and acceptance. We will learn How to view this virus through an empowering perspective How to shift your alignment from fear to love How to let go of old paradigms to expand your vibration Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. Today we’re talking about a new perspective on The Law of Attraction, and my goal for this episode was to make it as practical as possible. Even for you skeptics, and even for those of you who just can’t see a way out of your current situation. Maybe you’re stuck in bad job or you don’t know what your passion is, or you just find the whole idea of following your passion to be unrealistic.  How can this work for you? How can you find alignment with a higher vibration of yourself? Today’s guest is Gary Temple Bodley, an author, speaker and an expert on the Law of Attraction, and teaching people there is more to life than what they are currently experiencing, that they have power over fate, and that everyone is a spiritual being living in a physical existence.  Gary channels a group of nonphysical beings that go by Joshua and Joshua has written a few books through him.  We will learn: What our thoughts teach us about where we are right now - even the negative ones How to better practice love and acceptance no matter where we are in our lives The exact steps to get your whole being into alignment with your highest vibration Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. Do you eat when you are stressed, anxious or overwhelmed? Do you feel like you don’t have any self control with food? As someone who suffered a 10 year battle with bulimia and eating disorders, this topic is extremely personal to me. Most people think of their overeating habits as just a lack of self control, but that is rarely the case. Our emotions are major drivers in our eating habits. Our guest today is Jessica Proncini. She’s an Emotional Eating Healer and the founder of Escape From Emotional Eating®. She is on a mission to help others use food as fuel rather than a way to cope, soothe or escape their busy, stressful life. She consciously created and specifically designed Escape From Emotional Eating from her own emotional eating journey because Overeaters Anonymous didn’t resonate and therapy wasn’t enough when it came to getting help to fully end her fight with food. Now being 100% free from her compulsions with food, she helps others do the same.  We will learn: How to tell if you’re actually hungry or eating for emotional reasons The four roots of emotional eating How to start healing your relationship with food Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. This is one of my favorite episodes ever. When I started an entrepreneur, I had a lot of fear and self-doubt. What will people think? Will it work? Will I fail publicly? Will people talk behind my back? Will they believe me? Leaders, entrepreneurs, and coaches tend to seek growth, so we’re constantly evolving. So if you speak your truth publicly now, how will that change in the next few years?  How do you share your story and be vulnerable while still allowing room to grow and evolve? How do you have strong beliefs while staying open to new information AND share it all publicly? Today we’re talking to one of my favorite leaders and female entrepreneurs Libby Crow. And I will say this episode will be enlightening whether or not you’re an entrepreneur or a leader. Libby is self-proclaimed grandmother wise soul energy and you will be able to feel it. We will learn: How to embrace your imperfections and get over your fear of saying the wrong thing as your grow your influence How self care affects your compassion for others wherever they are in their journey How to build your success by showing up for other people’s success Show Notes: Sign Up for The Morning Mind Love for short daily reminders of how freaking powerful and magical you are, straight to your inbox! Most positive change has come from questioning the status quo. Questioning things reveals gaps – usually mindset gaps between logic or beliefs and behavior.  And not all of these things are about a balance of power, there are so many ridiculous things we all just accept as normal every single day. Chances are, there are things in your life – or in society – that you’re not happy with. or that could be better.  Change starts with a question. And today’s interview is going to teach you how to do that.  This interview is going to discuss the major areas of our lives that we should be pushing the status quo so we give a whole body hell yes to everything in our lives, our work, love, relationships, your mission. Today we’re diving back into our energy fields. A lot of you have told me how much you’re affected by other people’s negative energies so I’m going to address that from a few angles. We already did an episode on what it means to be an empath. I did that one first because those are the people that need it most. They’re affected by it the most.⠀ ⠀ Next we tackled it from the totally practical side when we learned how to have productive disagreements in episode 106.⠀ ⠀ Now I’m going to address it from a spiritual angle. ⠀ This episode has its moments of woowoo, but it also has some really practical advice regardless of where you are on the woo scale, as I call it.⠀ ⠀ When we really connect the idea that thoughts are energy, we can open our mind to the fact that directing our thoughts direct a subtle field of energy that we can’t see… well most of us can’t see.⠀ ⠀ So that’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Atherton Drenth. Clairvoyant, Medical Intuitive and Holistic Energy Practitioner. She’s also the author of a booked called intuitive Dance.⠀ ⠀ We will learn: What fear cords are and how to cut them How to deal with emotional blackmail How to protect yourself from negative or unwanted energy. ⠀ Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. They say by the time you’re 35, you’re basically a series of habits… habits of thought, habits of behavior, habits of emotions…⠀ ⠀ Habits are not just about behaviors. They include thoughts and emotions too.⠀ ⠀ If it seems like you always have negative thoughts looping in your head and just can’t get on the positivity train, that’s because you haven’t checked your thought habits.⠀ ⠀ Meaning you haven’t yet disrupted your current thought patterns and consciously created new ones.⠀ ⠀ Emotional habits include snapping too easily road rage wallowing in self-pity, and even aspects of depression. ⠀ ⠀ Understanding how to break bad habits and build positive ones are super important, not just for success, but for survival.⠀ ⠀ I’m really excited because today we have the author of THE BEST book I’ve ever read on habits… and I’ve read a lot.⠀ ⠀ This book has thousands of reviews on amazon and all five starts. Not 4 and half. FIVE. That’s rare y’all.⠀ ⠀ Our guest today is James Clear. Author of the best-selling book Atomic Habits. He is also one of the world’s leading experts on habit formation.⠀ ⠀ Today he’s going to teach us practical strategies that will teach you exactly how to form good habits, break bad ones, and master those tiny little behaviors that lead to remarkable results.⠀ ⠀ What’s actually happening in the brain when a habit is formed. Why self control seems so difficult And simple steps you can take to start building the habits needed to become the best version of you. ⠀ Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. Visit
We will learn: What types of things hypnosis can and can’t fix How to hypnotize yourself to become the type of person you’ve always wanted to be Simple fixes to your environment to support whatever change you’re trying to achieve. ⠀ Did you know that we go through thousands of hypnotic processes all the time and we don’t even know it? Hypnosis is really just a relaxed state of focused or an altered state of consciousness.⠀ ⠀ When you’re in this relaxed state of mind, your conscious processes move out of the way, and dig into your subconscious processes, which is what really drives our behavior. This is why it’s such a powerful state for change.⠀ ⠀ Hypnosis can be really powerful, but what I find even more exciting is that we can actually hypnotize ourselves to become the people we really want to be. ⠀ ⠀ Maybe you need to release a bad habit, maybe you need to release limiting beliefs, or stop procrastinating, or to get a handle on your distraction. Your options are endless.⠀ ⠀ Today we’re talking to Joe Homs the Owner and Director of Orange County Hypnosis. Joe uses his experience over a decade working with thousands of clients to help them get out of their own way and become the best versions of themselves.⠀ ⠀⠀ Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. Forgiveness… sucks… lol totally kidding, but it is really freaking hard. But science shows being hurt or disappointed puts a huge strain your health.⠀ ⠀ Holding a grudge puts you in fight or flight mode which affects your heart rate, blood pressure and immune response. People who hold onto grudges are more likely to experience severe depression, PTSD, they’re more likely to die of heart disease. ⠀ ⠀ Forgiveness reduces cortisol, regulates your stress response reduces risk of heart attach and even helps you sleep. But for most people, forgiveness isn’t just an event, it’s a process that requires a little soul searching and self-reflection. And it’s definitely not always easy. Especially at first. That’s what we’ll be talking about today.⠀ ⠀ Our guest is Terri Levine, she’s the founder of Heartpreneur, and a best selling author, most recently of a book called About to Break - The Path to True Forgiveness. ⠀ ⠀ We will learn: ⠀ ⠀ How to shift the way you view people to release resentment Why it’s not our job to teach anyone a lesson A process to fully forgive yourself and others ⠀ Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. Stress rises around the holidays, which means people get tense. And for a lot of people, Thanksgiving might be the first time they’ve seen their families since easter, or maybe even since the year before. So there’s a lot of calibration that goes on.⠀ ⠀ Topics like politics and religion and money are all taboo subjects. But discussions about progress shouldn’t be off-limits. ⠀ ⠀ But how do we argue while coming together instead of falling apart?⠀ ⠀ Our guest is Buster Benson. As the mastermind behind top-performing teams at Amazon, Twitter, and Slack, Buster basically mastered hard conversations in stressful environments. His article cognitive bias went so viral, viral he got a book deal. ⠀ ⠀ We’ll discuss the psychology of those awkward, unproductive conversations and how to avoid it.⠀ ⠀ Today we will learn: How cognitive bias affects everyone How to stay confident when you’re put on the spot How to diffuse tense moments with a few strategic questions ⠀ Show Notes: Learn more about your ad choices. this like the 3rd time a listen to this episode. the idea of stop saying "there isn't enough money, there isn't money for that" totalky resonated with me. Till this day i hear my mom saying this. I make a conscious effort not to say that and instead say i do have the money... thanks Melissa your podcast is always so helpful.

Hello Melissa. I discovered your podcast 1-year ago and since then I have had many positive mind love moments. Each episode I listen too helps me build my spiritual and emotional toolbox. I've connected with so many issues that you explore on Mindlove podcast episodes. One especially good one I connected with was the digital distraction and learning to reduce the impulse to reach for my phone. Today I listened to the episode 110 about the diffierent types of intuition and I loved it. Thank you for putting these conversations out there. It reaches me and helps me grow into a better human being. I also get your morning Mind Love e-mails and its a great way to start my day. Keep it up!

This came at a perfect time! Its something I've been struggling really hard with and felt like I needed something a little more in depth than the recent empath episode. Really resonating with the kernels of wisdom regarding narcissists that keeps coming up, as I find I'm constantly surrendering by them! Thank you so much Melissa!

I'd like to throw out a caveat to this idea of toxic relationships, especially when considering toxic parents. The behavior described in this episode alludes to the fact that there is "choice" in the behavior of the toxic parent. However, this doesn't blatenly take mental health into account which may be a large driving factor of toxic behavior in many similar situations. I have grown up with a bipolar parent and actually see many similarities to the experiences described. But for me, it is harder to place sole blame on my parent themself as they have something that affects the way they think and live their life, where I can see that rational explanation never sinks in. The distancing of oneself from the toxic parent does make it easier to live your own life aside from adhering to that person 24/7. Thanks for the interesting topic share!

This episode wounds a bit storytelling but if we get a glimpse of the whole picture isn't that tough to find the connections... and if I feel somewhat weird about talking to a feather well, I can also see a pretty constant connection between how we think we soul or would feel in that situation or event and its correspondence to reality. The connection between us being happy and is deciding to be happy is real. As concrete as concrete! Live your pod every episode a little more! Ciao Melissa!
