We will learn: How to master your mental muscles to unlock a world of focused achievement The implications of quantum physics on wealth A 5-minute practice with the power to reduce stress and enhance focus Ever wonder why some people seem to manifest abundance with ease while others get caught up in the same old mess of financial struggles or personal dramas? How is it that the same opportunities, the same world, can yield so many different outcomes? Today, we're dissecting the impact of our subconscious money patterns and how they carry the weight of our past into our present, for better or for worse. And what happens to us and to our dreams when we actually move from a mindset of scarcity to one of abundance. You may recognize our guest, one of my dear friends Ashley Stahl. She is the author of YouTurn and host of the podcast of the same name. She is seriously a powerhouse of inspiration. And she writes TED Talks that will get you on that stage and help you go viral. We’ve decided to introduce a new flavor to both our shows. Every now and then we’re going to do our own little version of a book club. So today we’re going through one of my newest favorite books Happy Pocket Full of Money. We will learn: The secret pivotal stage that comes after you've mastered tough tasks Why forcing discipline is a flawed strategy, and how to inject structure into your routine The life-altering shift that happens when you reduce the space between idea and action Can you be real with yourself for a moment? A part of you already knows what you want. And you know what you need to do. The hard part is actually getting yourself to do the thing. The problem is that our comfort zones are… comfy. We don’t like to leave them. But if you keep making the decisions you’ve always made, you’re going to keep building up walls that keep you where you are. You are responsible for the life you create. No one’s going to do it for you. So, knowing that how can you bring yourself to give and produce your best when you least feel like it? Today we’re going to figure that out. Our guest is Dre Baldwin. He is CEO and Founder of Work On Your Game Inc. He has given 4 TEDx Talks and has authored 35 books. Dre had a 9-year professional basketball career, playing in 8 countries. And his framework is the "roadmap in reverse" for professional mindset, strategy, systems, and execution Links from the episode: Show Notes: https://mindlove.com/339 Become a Mind Love Member for high-value Masterclasses, Growth Workbooks, Monthly Meditations, and Uninterrupted Listening FREE 5-Days to Purpose Email Course Sign up for The Morning Mind Love for short daily notes to wake up inspired Support Mind Love Sponsors Learn more about your ad choices. We will learn: • The unspoken emotional pacts we make in relationships. • How to manage anxious attachments. • The powerful steps to sit with your past wounds, understand their impact, and start to heal. Have you ever found yourself wondering why certain feelings just won't leave you be? Like you're carrying this invisible backpack filled with emotions that somehow seem too familiar, no matter where you go or who you're with?  You might have asked yourself, why do these bits of the past cling so stubbornly, shaping not just moments, but your very life story? See, the thing is, we're all a product of our experiences, but sometimes, it's not the ones you can outright remember that have the tightest grip. It's those subtle, often overlooked emotional imprints from our youngest years that silently steer the ship of our behavior, relationships, and, yes, even our self-worth. But here's a kicker: these same shadows, as painful as they can be, also have the power to lead to the most profound understanding of ourselves.  Today, we're diving into just how much of our adult selves are blueprints scribbled in our young minds. Our guest is Jessica Baum. She is the founder of the Relationship Institute of Palm Beach. She has helped thousands of clients with her unique approach to healing, the Self-full® Method.  Links from the episode: Show Notes: https://mindlove.com/338 Become a Mind Love Member for high-value Masterclasses, Growth Workbooks, Monthly Meditations, and Uninterrupted Listening FREE 5-Days to Purpose Email Course Sign up for The Morning Mind Love for short daily notes to wake up inspired Support Mind Love Sponsors Learn more about your ad choices. We will learn: How to recognize and manage self-denial with food How to decode your body’s food language How to find serenity in indulgence Have you ever felt trapped by your own thoughts about food and eating? Like you’re stuck in a cycle and can’t get out?  Right now, there's a big push against labeling any food as "bad." I agree that no one should feel shame about what they eat. For me, though, learning how our bodies react to certain foods was a game-changer. Realizing that many processed foods are engineered to be addictive shifted the blame away from my so-called lack of willpower to understanding the science behind it. Personally, I don't classify all items as food; some are just lab creations to me. And some people feel like that is shaming… I get that my approach might not jive with everyone's latest theories, but it's what's worked for me and others I know. However, I emphasize, what works for me doesn’t work for everyone. In today’s episode I’m going to give space to someone with a different view that has worked with more people than I have personally around this topic.  So today we’re changing our relationship with food in whatever way works for us. Our guest is Kim Shapira. She is a celebrity dietitian, nutritional therapist, and author, with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Tulane University and a Master’s degree in Human Metabolism and Clinical Nutrition from Boston University. Kim has spent over 25 years helping people lose weight and keep it off (with a giant emphasis on keeping it off). We will learn: The hidden phenomenon of self-loss that might be dictating your life choices without you even knowing it. How to differentiate between empowering oneself and using "authenticity" as an excuse for unhelpful behaviors. The most powerful questions to ask yourself to unveil your life’s purpose. Have you ever felt like you’ve just completely lost yourself? Maybe you've been in a relationship where you ended up blending so much into their world, their likes and dislikes, that you lost sight of your own. Or perhaps, growing up, you learned to put everyone else first to get by, carrying that habit into adulthood. Or you've chased down all the milestones of success society laid out, only to realize they don't actually make you feel fulfilled. It's like there's a piece missing, right? So the question is, how do you get back to yourself when you’ve gone too far? Or even when you’ve never quite found yourself in the first place? That’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Sara Kuburic. She is an existential psychotherapist, consultant, and author of "It's On Me". She is passionate about helping people seek change and live authentic, free, and meaningful lives. Her interest in psychology stems from her personal experience living through wars, navigating complex relationships, and continually learning what it means to be human. If you just can’t wait to dive into this topic, I need to tell you about a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: SoulStrength Activation launches this week. I only have two spots left. We’re going to access your inner power (that's figuring out your unique gifts and vision), reprogram your mind for unshakeable self-belief, so you stop talking yourself out of the life you’re meant to live, and then create the life that truly fulfills you. So that you never wake up with that pit in your stomach that one more year has gone by and nothing has changed- ever again.  And there are many perks for this founding group. Send me an email, and we’ll hop on a call and see if we can squeeze you into this group so that your life can start to change now. We will learn: How stress hijacks your body's responses, and why even your MIND can't save you from it.  How to hit pause and rewrite your survival patterns.  How to master the art of reaching calm between the seesaw of stress and shutdown. Do you ever reflect on something and think, “why did I do that”? Or why can’t I seem to keep my cool in those situations? Why did that trigger me so badly?  The truth is, your reaction is less about the trigger and more about your past. Our past experiences leave invisible imprints on our lives. They affect the way we interact with the world, make decisions, and even respond to stress, which has a direct effect on our happiness levels now. So today, we’re learning all about that process and what to do next. Our guest is Chantal Donnelly. She is a physical therapist and author of the Amazon best-selling book, “Settled: How to Find Calm in a Stress-Inducing World.” She is also the owner of Body Insight, a wellness company designed to help people reconnect with their bodies and improve their health. That’s what it’s like to be aligned with your dharma.  So, that's our focus today – how to inch closer to our purpose every day. Our guest is Suneel Gupta. He is on the faculty at Harvard University and the author of “Everyday Dharma: 8 Essential Practices for Finding Joy in What You Do.” Also, now is the perfect time for this episode because doors are open for the founding group of Mind Love’s brand-new SoulStrength Activation. We will learn: The game-changing power of tiny actions The surprising secret to happiness from the Harvard study on relationships and experiences How to regret-proof your life with one simple exercise When's the last time you did something just for the sheer fun of it?  I'm not talking about big vacations or meticulously planned outings. I mean those little, impromptu acts of joy. Like diving into a pile of leaves, fully knowing you'll have to rake them up again. Or maybe having a random dance-off in your living room or deciding to cook a fancy dinner on a Tuesday night, just for kicks. Or maybe it is about those bigger dreams – like finally taking that trip you've always talked about, riding in a hot air balloon, or learning to snowboard, regardless of your age. These moments, big or small, are what make life vibrant. They remind us that joy isn't just in grand gestures or milestones. Often, it's the spontaneous, simple things that leave a lasting impression. So that's what we're talking about today.  Our guest is Bridget Hilton. She's an expert in living a rich, experience-filled life. As a teenager, she hustled her way into the biggest record label in the world, helping to launch the careers of some major music stars we know today. She is the founder of LSTN Sound Co., a company that's given over 50,000 people the gift of hearing. Now, she's out there inspiring others as a keynote speaker and the co-author of the "Experiential Billionaire" book and "Treasure Maps" card game. Her passion? Helping people improve their mental health and live intentional, regret-free lives by chasing fulfilling goals. And if you have, what would this look like? Our beliefs are both our limits and our wings. But remember, it all starts with those beliefs. We will learn: The truth behind depression as an identity crisis. How your brain constantly judges your self-worth based on one-size-fits-all virtues that may not be right for you. How to tap into the 3rd dimension of lasting happiness that goes far beyond temporary pleasure and material gains. Have you ever had one of those moments where you're like, 'I thought this is what I wanted, but now that I have it, it's not making me as happy as I imagined'? And then you have to go readjust your ideas about what actually makes you feel good versus what you assumed would bring you joy. A lot of this tension between expectations and reality could be avoided altogether if we took the time upfront to deeply know ourselves. Self-knowledge lights the path we want to walk. It steadies us when the mind starts making excuses or trying to justify choices that merely feel familiar but don't exactly nurture our spirit. Because guess what? Most frustration and feelings of being stuck come from not knowing ourselves deeply enough in the first place. So the question is, how do we get this kind of clarity? That's what we're talking about today. Our guest is Ryan Bush. He is a designer and thinker focused on building better systems, better people, and a better future. He is a practical philosopher, founder of Designing the Mind, and author of the forthcoming book, “Become Who You Are: A New Theory of Self-Esteem, Human Greatness, and the Opposite of Depression.” Links from the episode: Show Notes: https://mindlove.com/330 Become a Mind Love Member for high-value Masterclasses, Growth Workbooks, Monthly Meditations, and Uninterrupted Listening FREE 5-Days to Purpose Email Course Sign up for The Morning Mind Love for short daily notes to wake up inspired Support Mind Love Sponsors Learn more about your ad choices. We will learn: The connection between emotions, self-worth, and the stories we tell ourselves What happens when you prioritize psychological safety but neglect the danger you may be causing yourself The surprising link between your dream goals and your deepest emotions... and how harnessing this connection can unlock your true potential Do you ever catch yourself in a cycle of overthinking and over-analyzing your every move, every word, and every decision until it exhausts you?  For some people, it’s the regret or second-guessing themselves. For others, it’s everything, which can lead to a very anxious life. Whatever your version of this, it’s like an invisible burden that we carry, and it affects more than just that one situation. It actually takes a toll on your peace of mind… obviously… but also your self-worth. This episode isn’t just for those who feel the weight of overthinking and emotional turmoil. It’s for anyone who’s ever been caught in the cycle of approval-seeking, the comparison trap, or the unconscious belief that someone else’s validation will fill their insecurities.  Today, we’re going to learn how to release the burden of overthinking and honor our feelings to rewire our energy patterns. Our guest is Julia DiGangli. She is a neuropsychologist and clinical psychologist specializing in studying painful emotions such as anxiety, stress, fear, and anger. Coming from a lineage of psychologists, she has always been passionate about understanding emotions and how they evolve over time. Have you ever experienced synchronicities in your dreams that seem a little too meaningful to be just a coincidence? Dreams have always been a source of fascination, almost like a gateway to the unknown. But what if they are more than just random firings of a sleeping brain? What if they are a bridge to higher consciousness, a peek into alternate realms? Consider this: dreams could be telling us about different dimensions of reality. Imagine if every night, when you close your eyes, you're not just resting but actually exploring unseen worlds. Your dreams could be a portal to connect with your higher self, offering guidance from spiritual beings or insights into your deepest, truest self. So, are you ready to dive into the world of dreams and explore the power of the 5th dimension? Today we're talking about how these nightly journeys can enhance your life, offer healing, and maybe even connect you to a higher realm of consciousness. Our guest is Dr. Bruce Goldberg. We will learn: Why our disconnection with nature is more dangerous than you think, and who may be manipulating our beliefs. The mysteries of empty space and the hidden dimensions that may exist right where we stand. How to break the chains of insignificance and discover the untapped power within.  Have you ever questioned the true impact of your actions, or even your thoughts, on the world around you? I think we’re seeing one side of this. I don’t think any of us will deny that, as a whole, humans have lost their connection with nature. This disconnect didn't just begin with industrialization; its roots stretch far back in history, intertwined with the evolution of scientific thought. It's important to remember that much of what we accept as settled science is still evolving. We're continually discovering new, profound insights that border on the magical. And isn't it ironic? We've been conditioned to see our reality as kind of mundane, not realizing that life is really magical. We are not isolated beings fighting against the world; we are vital parts of a vibrant, interconnected web of existence. So, how do we reclaim this magical, empowering perspective? How do we start seeing nature not as something separate but as an extension of ourselves and a reflection of the divine? That’s what we’re talking about today.  Our guest is Marcel Gleiser. He is the Appleton Professor of Natural Philosophy and professor of physics and astronomy at Dartmouth College, a world-renowned theoretical physicist and public intellectual. He’s authored hundreds of technical and nontechnical papers and essays and six books in English translated into 18 languages. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, a recipient of the Presidential Faculty Fellows Award from the White House, and founder and past director of the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Engagement at Dartmouth. We will learn: How to unlock the power of flexibility and non-negotiable values in interpersonal situations The game-changing concept of "Zanshin" and why goals aren't everything The surprising secret to navigating life's ups and downs with ease Let’s face it: no matter how in tune you are with your emotions and spirituality, dealing with change can be tough. It’s somewhat smoother when you’re the one choosing the change, but even then, there are those little details that catch you off guard. Because here’s the thing. The only constant is change. Let that sink in. The only constant is change. Everything is always changing all the time. So why wouldn’t we try to get better at dealing with change? Our situations change, the world changes, our bodies change, people change, we change. In fact, everything is always cycling through states of order, disorder, and reorder. And that sounds a little overwhelming, but guess what? If this cycle wasn’t always occurring, nothing could get better either. So today we’re going to learn to navigate this cycle with a little more grace.  Our guest is Brad Stuhlberg. He is the bestselling author of “Master of Change and The Practice of Groundedness.” He writes for The New York Times and is on faculty at the University of Michigan's Graduate School of Public Health. We will learn: How small arguments can have a monumental impact on your emotions and rationality. The enemies of clear thinking and how to conquer them Key strategies for overcoming self-doubt, boosting confidence, and taking bold leaps toward your dreams Have you ever stopped to think about how seemingly insignificant decisions have shaped your life? Every little decision we make can send us down a different path. But there’s no sense in dwelling on the paths not taken. Instead, we can focus on getting better at making those small choices as they come. That's where the real power lies. So that's what we're talking about today. Our guest is Shane Parrish. He is an entrepreneur, investor, and the wisdom seeker behind the popular website Farnam Street, where he writes about hidden insights that help you achieve lasting success. His online course, Decision by Design, has helped thousands of people worldwide learn the repeatable behaviors that improve decision-making in the real world. We will learn: The truth about the barriers hindering open and inquisitive conversations. How the need for acceptance hinders our boundaries. The mysterious connection between your mother and your own sense of self. Do you ever find yourself caught between wanting acceptance and wanting others to change? Family has a particular way of amplifying this mental dilemma, especially our mothers. It's this tricky thing where we're trying to be our own person, but we also want that nod from our moms, like, "Hey, you're doing great." It's known as the "Mother Wound." It's about navigating the delicate balance between seeking our mothers' pride and approval while also honoring our own truths and the unique ways we choose to live our lives, raise our children, and even rest our souls. So that's what we're talking about today. Our guest is one of my favorite people and close friends Ashley Stahl. She's been on the show a few other times and I'm so glad to have her back. Although she is currently without children, she's found that suddenly her relationship with her own mom is experiencing a little more friction than usual. So, as friends tend to do, we're going deep into our experiences, and as podcasters tend to do, we're sharing our mess with all of you in hopes that it brings relatability, a little insight, and maybe even some compassion and healing. Ashley is the author of You Turn: Get Unstuck, Discover Your Direction, and Design Your Dream Career. She is the host of the podcast of the same name. Have you ever taken a moment to ask yourself what truly matters to you? I'm talking about a deep dive into the core of your being to unearth your values and not just a fleeting thought that skims the surface. Sure, family, kindness, and respect matter to me, but what about a profound understanding of your values that acts as your inner compass? Imagine knowing your values so intimately that they become the filter for every decision you make, ensuring that every choice is a step towards a life that's not just fulfilling but actually resonant with the essence of who you are. I recently took some time to reconnect with my values. It's something that I do every 3 years or so to ensure that they still resonate with me. I want to make sure that my values grow as I do, especially with the changes that come with parenthood. It's also just refreshing to reassess and redefine my path, making sure that it aligns with not only who I am now but also who I'm evolving into. We will learn: Why your therapist's coping skills might not be working for you, and the game-changing advice that could change your progress How self-blame holds you back and the surprising reason behind your need for control The secret coping skill for anxiety and panic attacks Have you ever experienced something that you just never quite got over? A loss, a betrayal, a violation of some sort? Or maybe a memory resurfaced years later, followed by a whole lot of emotions that you never really saw coming. What I've come to understand is that time does not heal all. Time allows some space to do something with the pain. But that something isn't always productive, especially if we try to let it process itself. So, how do we unpack our emotional suitcases to move through life a little lighter or, even better... fully engaged with the here and now? That's what we're talking about today.  Our guest is Madeline Popelka. She grew up in a household where mental health was never discussed, which was extra hard given she experienced multiple traumatic events. When she started to experience PTSD symptoms in her late twenties, she realized she didn't know the first step in getting help. As Madeline began her healing journey, she felt the urge to create space for other trauma survivors on Instagram @healingfromptsd, which is now one of the largest trauma healing communities on Instagram. There, she shares her hard-earned lessons on healing, inspiring hundreds of thousands of survivors along their healing journeys. She's also the author of “You're Going to Be Okay”. I just don't get a good feeling about his guides compared to other channelers. I dont' know why. I keep trying to listen or read and the vibe is just not good. And I don't feel like his guides make ANY SENSE AT ALL.
