I'm not done listening yet, but... Why is nobody considering the fact that the trigger may have been religion? He's a minister with a captive audience of a lesbian sex worker... You don't think "God" and "sin" came up? Meaning patriarchal judgment... It would trigger lots of people... Let alone someone mentally unstable like Aileen. And *especially* with her background (grandfather, previous assaults against her, etc.).

Kemper was not institutionalized for schizophrenia! He was sentenced to 6 years confinement for the murder of his grandparents at age 15, and this diagnosis, which has since been disputed, was made AFTER the fact. This presentation is very misleading. Why were Kemper's first murders not even mentioned, nor the horrific abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother? This leaves the impression that you are manipulating facts to tell a story that differs from what actually happened.

This piece of crap didn't deserve any consideration whatsoever. But it's almost breathtaking the way the police big league and bully him. EVERYONE comments how unintelligent Ridgeway is. And yet if it wasn't for scientists, he'd still be free. And probably killing girls and women. I'm a law and order guy. 100%. But it's typical that policemen can't find their own butts with their own hands, yet still play the big man heroes. Condescending creeps. If someone beat me every day for 20 years, I definitely wouldn't pretend that I was the big stud just because the referee intervened and gave me the win in the last match.

And that little helpful tidbit from Ted Bundy on how to get away with murdering people is why Israel Keyes was so successful.

It would be confusing to have to investigate murders from 2 killers at the same time...trying to link who did what.
