Magic of alchemy: why you are not broken (+ my poem)

I don’t know how many times I have heard the word ‘broken’ whisper in my heart of hearts and I have felt that innate sense of brokenness for far so long that I thought that I must be someone broken. But I was so wrong. The brokenness can never be innate and I believe your soul can never break. Through this podcast, I have poured my heart out into how that feeling of brokenness can transmute into strength, courage and new foundation in life. How compassion can be born from the place of suffering. How love can bloom from depths of pain and happiness is a butterfly within your grasp. Because all you ever have to be is an alchemist to life and shape shift through your struggles in life. Thus, the true mission is always to find your truth, grow, expand and integrate your experiences, consciousness and come back home to your soul. I hope you find your truth through this alchemy. But for now, here’s my truth of being wounded healer which includes a very personal poem and here’s my alchemy.

LOVE RANT!

There’s something so fascinating about love but it also has the power to cause you so much pain, despair and longing. I recently watched ‘Marriage Story’ and it made me question a lot of things I have come to understand about love and relationships. This episode feels more like a rant to me because I felt so compelled to let out what I felt and this is thus the result of all the thoughts brewing in my head when it comes to love and relationships.

How depression taught me self love

Depression is a metaphorical black hole as most people say it is. Once you fall into its arms, the world loses its color and people around you are sort of like your enemies—you grow wary of them like they are going to attack you when you least expect it. Depression feels like a perpetual gloomy mind drowning in the ocean of pain that wants to be let out but all you feel in the end is terrible emptiness. This is how depression felt like to me and how I made the best of it.
