Missing And Murdered

I look in to some Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in Ontario, Canada.

Missing and Murdered: Carolyn Connoly

The Native Women’s Association of Canada has discovered around 580 reported missing and murdered cases from 1944-2010. Statistics say that 67% are Murders, 20% are Missing, 4% are suspicious deaths And 9% are unknown. Carolyn Connoly is among one of the many murdered indigenous women who's case has yet to be solved.

Wow! The statistics for #MMIW is so frightening. The fact so many people heard Carolyn Connoly screams the night she was murdered, and no one came to her aid is a disgusting symptom of our society's lack of regard for Indigenous women, background, & alleged job. RIP Carolyn.

good job on the podcast Grace! It sounds like this was a school project and I hope that you take it further and look more into the loss to the Indigenous community & Canada as a whole, of these valuable women.
