Missing is a true crime podcast that tells stories of missing people, homicides, and injustices. Starting in 2015 with the disappearance of Maura Murray, Missing has covered the vanishings of Brianna Maitland, Brandon Lawson, Phoenix Coldon, Trenny Gibson, Daniel Robinson, Jessica Stacks, Erica Franolich, Cieha Taylor, Calvin Johnny Hunt, Abbie Flynn, Tabitha Queen, Raymond Green, Alicia Markovich, Niqui McCown, Samantha Tapp, Archer Ray Johnson, Dale Williams, Morgan Bauer, Pepita Redhair and more mysteries in depth. Due to their close affiliation with the non-profit organization, Private Investigations For the Missing, the team features stories sourced from their case files when appropriate.
While Missing primarily focuses on unsolved cases, they also highlight solved murders, doe’s, DNA updates, cold cases and serial killers like Christopher Wilder as a way to explore all the factors. Whether it’s psychological, socioeconomic, or something deeper that plays a part in a person’s disappearance, Missing does not shy away.
Missing also has an impressive guest list with names like Jon Ronson, Maggie Freleng, Todd Matthews, Sarah Turney, John Lordan, Danelle Hallan, Julie Murray, James Renner, the Generation Why, Nancy Grace, True Crime Garage, Patrick Hinds, Ellyn Marsh, Jim Clemente, Art Roderick, David & Kristen Mittelman of Othram Labs as well as current law enforcement and licensed private investigators.
Tim Pilleri and Lance Reenstierna were also featured in Oxygen's The Disappearance of Maura Murray 6 part documentary.
Missing is hosted and produced by Tim Pilleri, Lance Reenstierna of Crawlspace Media.
Vanessa's book is amazing! I am a survivor myself from a narcissistic relationship and have suffered with PTSD because of it. if anyone has lived through this, you have to read her book!
Excellent interview.I really liked what he had to say about the corporate world. My experience exactly! The last person who saw her, who drives the bus that lived near the crash site.,not saying he’s guilty, but I am a bit suspicious. She may have walked over to their house. I feel a car stopping and picking her up would’ve been more easily seen. It would’ve taken a little more time. However, her quickly crossing the street may have been more easily missed by those in the area
Too many disturbed individuals or trolls, out there. We have a right to have a podcast free of trolls. thank you.
go ask the boyfriend lol
Robin, the woman walking to the store, sounds like an excellent eyewitness. It’s too bad, police didn’t look more into that at the time she made that statement .
I’ve heard/read that there were no footprints in the snow in the areas that was searched the night she disappeared.
Excellent interview.
I am cautious and skeptical, but open-minded. I did find this interview very Interesting.
I enjoyed this interview. I wasn’t upset that he called Maura a sociopath , but I was curious why. I’m glad that he clarified what he meant. I agree with him on that.
Then Maura irrationally runs into the woods, possibly gets lost and cold. Nobody saw anybody pull over to help her and I think somebody would’ve seen a car. I wonder if her body is in the woods somewhere and nobody’s come across it yet. I know they’ve done a search, but often there are searches with no resolution. And then the bodies found much later in the area they were first looking in. I think the family knows something and won’t talk .
My speculation is based on her absolute crisis breakdown that she possibly hit that boy, left the scene completely traumatized. I think the father and the family covered it up with all these strange things that don’t make any sense. Then she is still distraught driving on highway 112. I don’t think it was a set up. I think she really did crash. It’s like, one bad thing happens in your life and you spiral out of control. That’s what I feel like she was going through.
I think I’m gonna have to get his book to find out why he thinks Maura was as sociopath.
I thought the father said that he suggested putting the rag up the tailpipe, so why would people think that a stranger put a rag up in the tailpipe at the gas station?
This story is very interesting. I didn’t hear about this missing person before. I do wonder if her Dad helped her cover up her bad behavior. The picture of her in front of the brick wall is very Intriguing.
Yeah “guys” he’s super annoying and seems to know everything about the case but it hasn’t been solved - smh.. whatever
is she trying to say Xanax??? in all other aspects it sounds like Xanax but she literally spells it out "sarax". am I crazy or is she that misinformed???
100% her brother killed her. mad she got knocked up by a black man
