We are still in July and its Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. This month is about bringing awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental illness. We have one of my favorite people in the world, Dorinda Walker, to share her personal experience and why it's important to protect your peace and your mental health.

It’s that time when we celebrate a very special mom….and this month we are celebrating our moms. Yup, they are here as our guests….so please expect us to be on our best behavior!!! Please welcome our moms….Katherine, Hattie, and Lynette. Hey Mamas!!!!
Although we are gradually coming out of COVID and lock down, there are still so many scattered and painful emotions that many of us have not addressed. It’s spring, and we clean everything for spring….today we are talking about spring cleaning our emotions.
It’s Autism Awareness Month and with 1 in 45 children diagnosed with autism now (from a CDC survey in 2015, it may be even higher now), there’s a very good chance you know someone who is an autism mom. It could even be a family member who’s child is not diagnosed.
So many people have mixed feeling about Texas...or our country for that matter being back open. We always have an opinion about anything impacting our lives or the lives of our children. So today we are talking about adjusting to our statewide opening.
