Hey kids!Today we learn about the beginning of God’s amazing story. We start with creation where we see God create everything from nothing for His glory! Creation was His idea and He simply spoke everything into existence. So gather round and here how incredibly awesome our God is as we learn about the start of the story!
Note to parentsThe story of creation is complex but I recommend we stay out of the weeds when teaching the story to our kids. In this episode I name the obvious in a fun and curious way answering big questions in 5 minutes which can be sought out in lengthy text books. I have a great appreciation for scholarly work in regards to creation but believe our children have the capacity to understand exactly what the author intended to communicate. In this episode I key in on the Hebrew word “bara.” This is our english word for “created” but describes God’s freedom to effortlessly bring into existence things that do not exist. I recommend you come along the ride with your kids and take some notes. My prayer for you is for the light of Scripture pluck your heart strings as you spend time with your kids learning more about our great and mighty Creator.
Hey kids!Today we look at the first 10 words of the Bible, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” God has created everything for His glory and all of creation sings a song proclaiming His handiwork! So sit in for the first short story of the the Little Lights Podcast.
