Moreno Dorado

For my 28 birthday, damn I'm getting old, I reached out to followers/friends and family to send in their random questions. In hopes to get to know me a bit more. It was a blast seeing the questions people came up. Thank you for another sucessfull episode!

In this episode, I bring in my very intuitive, spiritual guest speaker; my boyfriend. We dive deep into the topic of being cis gender men and being emotional. How our race, sexuality and age have contributed to being in touch with our feminine and emotional sides.

I break down my experience with colorismo/colorism and how it affected myself, my family and my culture.

Have you’ve seen the Tik Tok trend where you are speaking to your younger self and answer questions that they have for the older you? Well, I did a version of that trend where I advise my 14 and 21 year old self that things happen for a reason and all will be okay. A wise woman once said, “what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.”

In this episode of Moreno Dorado I talk about my history of identifying as the culture and countries my parents came from. Labels are created by society, but we as humans all want to belong Getting my 99% accurate DNA reading, I am only 47% Latin-American and 53% Mixed! Listen to see how these results changed the way I identify myself.
