Before all that, Lionel Messi won his second MLS MVP award, joining Preki as the only two-time winners of MLS's supreme idividual honor. The USL is proposing a $55,000 minimum salaary for it's upcoming top tier league as part of their CBA negotiations.

Mornking Kickaround is back for the week and Robert Kerr and Jason Davis hope your holiday weekend was filled with food and fun.

Jason Davis rejoins Robert Kerr after a week on vacation and he has a lot of cathching up to do.
For one, a couple champions were crowned over the weekend with GOtham FC winning the NWSL and Pittsburgh Riverhounds winning the USL Championship. The MLS Playoffs also delivered over the weekend with an instant classic in Vancouver and Messi doing Messi things for INter MIami. Omaha also has some new stadium news to discuss.
