Is God on the throne of your life or are you using Him as a good luck charm?
We know it’s been a long time. We know we need to be more consistent if we want to retain interest, but frankly, we have to put our family first. Sometimes that means the podcast gets thrown on the back burner. This episode wraps up the book of Judges on our end. We would suggest studying further for yourself if you’re interested in the fine details of the rest of the judges. Next episode we will be moving on to the kings of Israel.
If we claim to be Christ followers, then we should be following Christ. Eyes forward, feet moving, no distractions.
Meet our middle child and youngest son, Cache.
What does it mean to sanctify yourself?
We took a break. But we are back. And we are revisiting Joshua again.
In continuing through the story of the children Israel crossing the Jordan River, we will discuss the symbolism of that miraculous crossing as it relates to sanctification.
We welcome Jeremy Howell to the podcast for a discussion on the “church world” today.
In this episode, we intended to give a sort of update on our current thought processes but ended up in one of our conversations that trails off to many topics and thoughts. So, you get a glimpse into what it’s like when we talk to each other. Enjoy!
What have we allowed ourselves to believe because of the institutional church? That talent = anointing? church membership = being born again? disagreements = persecution? church positions = spiritual authority? Have we inadvertently placed our faith in these “good deeds”?
Ezekiel delivers a message to the false shepherds in Chapter 34.
““Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬
Let’s talk church leadership. What’s your idea of a good church leader? Do you hold your pastor in an unhealthy high regard? Have you place unBiblical and unattainable expectations on those in authority? Are those church leadership roles Biblical? Are your church leaders fulfilling their role according to scripture or according to man? This is the first part of a discussion around church leaders.
Most Christians would not admit that a person’s righteousness is wrapped up in their church attendance, but yet measure the faith of others (and ourselves) by our quality of church attendance. There’s nothing wrong with going, but WHY are you going? And are you seeking and cultivating a relationship with Christ outside of the four walls of a building?
1 Samuel 15 Are we just keeping ourselves busy to keep ourselves busy? Just because it’s church work, doesn’t mean it’s obedience. Do we expect a “quid pro quo” kind of relationship with God? Alternative title: “Ryan Preaches Straight At Amanda”

In this special Christmas episode, we share one of our most favorite family traditions - the reading of scripture concerning the birth of Jesus. We’ve added more to our reading to include prophecy about his birth and death. Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
