The way you see yourself—your identity—holds more power than you think. It can be the very thing that launches you into your future, or the anchor that keeps you chained to your past. Many of us are unknowingly living from an outdated version of ourselves, shaped by old mistakes, traumas, or limitations. We say things like “I’ve always been this way,” or “That’s just who I am,” without realizing we’re reinforcing a story that no longer serves us.
But identity is not fixed. It’s fluid. And rewriting your identity is one of the most powerful things you can do to change your life. When you begin to adopt the mindset, habits, and language of your future self—the version of you who has already achieved what you desire—you begin to align your actions with that new reality.
Your future isn’t found by holding on to who you’ve always been. It’s created by intentionally stepping into who you’re becoming. Choose to see yourself as capable, resilient, disciplined, and worthy. Let that new identity shape your choices, and watch your life transform. You are not stuck—you’re just one rewritten story away from becoming who you were always meant to be.

The only limit in our own life is the limits we place on our thinking. I talk about the Jason Lovins band playing at our Church and him sharing his story with us at service. This day was particularly special as my wife and youngest daughter got baptized. Jason started to share how his mom was assaulted and raped, and that is how his life came to be. His grandmother was praying about this situation and decided to choose life. God had a plan for his life, and he has a plan for your life as well! I think as human beings we have a limited capacity of what our dreams can actually be. We cant begin to understand the supernatural blessings of God. We often think we know the best thing for us and we start down this path, and we will get redirected on this journey. When you realize that your purpose for being here is in direct result to the struggles that you have faced in your life. What God has planned for your life is far greater than we can begin to imagine. You must let the past mistakes of your go instead of carrying them around like you are catching a flight somewhere. When you realize that all the wisdom you have acquired could help someone on their journey you can be a force to be reckoned with in your space. You must not let the opinions of other people stop you from pursuing your dreams. Be couragous, get on the field! I am giving your permission to play big in this life! When you are ready, lets have a conversation!

In a world obsessed with numbers—followers, likes, views, and downloads—it’s easy to mistake visibility for value. But the truth is, numbers don’t define success. The content that goes viral might capture attention, but it rarely transforms lives. Meanwhile, the quiet, heartfelt message that reaches just a few might be the very thing that sparks someone’s breakthrough.
You don’t need a million followers to make an impact—you just need a thousand raging fans. People who see you, trust you, and believe in what you’re doing. People who don’t scroll past your message but stop, reflect, and apply it. That’s where real influence lives—not in virality, but in authenticity.
Chasing numbers can become a trap that pulls you away from your purpose. You start creating for applause instead of alignment. But when you stay true to your message, when you serve instead of perform, something beautiful happens—the right people find you.
Success isn’t about being famous; it’s about being effective. One person deeply changed by your words is worth more than a thousand who barely listen. Remember this: impact isn’t measured in reach—it’s measured in transformation. And transformation rarely needs a spotlight to be real.

Hal Elrod delivered a powerful message when he asked a simple but piercing question: What matters most to you? Nearly everyone raised their hand and said, “Family.” But then he followed with a truth that stopped the room—If family is what matters most, does your calendar reflect that?
That question hit hard because it exposes the quiet contradiction many of us live in. We say our loved ones are the priority, but our schedules tell a different story. We chase financial security, promotions, and stability, believing that someday we’ll have the time to slow down and be more present. But “someday” often never comes.
The cost of that pursuit is subtle but devastating—missed moments, distant relationships, and the slow erosion of connection. We trade dinners for deadlines and memories for meetings, all in the name of providing a better life, while forgetting that we are the most important part of that life.
Hal’s message is a wake-up call: if your calendar doesn’t reflect your values, neither will your life. True wealth isn’t measured in your bank account—it’s measured in time, love, and presence. The real question isn’t what matters most; it’s whether you’re living like it does.

About Amy Lenius
I’m a speaker, coach, and the Director of Group Coaching at Next Level University. I help people (mostly women) redefine success in a way that feels deeply aligned through clarity, self-belief, emotional resilience, self-worth and sustainable daily habits. Over the last 8 years, I’ve spoken on stages at events dedicated to health, healing, and personal development. I currently serve as the MC and speaker for Next Level Live, yearly, and have been featured on over 100 podcasts. My coaching work is rooted in a whole-person approach. Addressing not just mindset, but also health, relationships, purpose, and identity. I specialize in guiding women to reconnect with themselves, honor their cyclical nature, discover what success and fulfillment truly means to them, and live in a way that reflects their values and vision. Before I ever taught this work, I lived it. I rebuilt my health, identity, and self-worth after years of chronic illness, and I learned that true healing isn’t always easy or comfortable. But it’s the most powerful work we can do. Growth isn’t always light and love. Sometimes it’s digging deep, getting honest, and choosing yourself over and over again. At the heart of everything I teach are three foundational pillars: Self-worth. Self-belief. Consistency. When you have these, you build momentum that feels nourishing, not exhausting, and from that space, real transformation happens.

Some people find rock bottom… I found out that rock bottom had a basement.
In my mid 20’s… I had it all.
I had a beautiful girlfriend, high paying job, sports car, my dream body… but I still ended up sitting on the edge of a bed debating suicide.
After my rock bottom moment, I went all in on holistic self-improvement.
I was determined to overcome my anxiety, depression and to finally live the life I’d always dreamed of.
Years later, I now host a podcast that impacts hundreds of thousands of people in countries all over the world.
At this stage, I’ve helped grow the podcast into a multi six-figure business, and I’ve recorded well over 1,000 episodes.
I’ve also given hundreds of speeches, trainings and coaching calls with people all over the world.
The main thing that changed was ME.
I focused on learning what I didn’t know (unlearning a lot too), and my life started to shift.
I love talking about Consistency, Commitment, Habits, Mindset, Confidence, Fear, Relationships, Limiting Beliefs and everything in between.
I believe in a heart-driven but NO BS approach to holistic self improvement, and I look forward to teaching even more people about what it really takes to get to the next level!

A self-centered life is one of constant chasing—status, titles, possessions, and recognition. On the surface, it looks impressive. The résumé is polished, the car shines, the achievements stack up. But beneath it all, there is often a quiet emptiness. Why? Because we were never created to be fulfilled by things that fade. A self-centered life puts us at the center of everything, but it leaves us restless, always hungry for the next “fix” of validation.
A God-centered life is the opposite. Instead of chasing applause, it seeks alignment with a greater calling. Instead of striving for what we think will make us important, it leans into what God has already designed us for. True peace comes not from building a kingdom of self, but from living in the purpose God has placed inside us.
Most people spend years climbing ladders, only to realize they were leaning against the wrong wall. Chasing things can give temporary satisfaction, but it never answers the deeper question: Why am I here? When we shift from self-centered to God-centered living, everything changes. Purpose replaces emptiness, calling replaces comparison, and fulfillment finally takes root. That’s the life worth chasing.

We live in a world that constantly promises quick fixes and painless cures. From instant success schemes to “one-size-fits-all” solutions for our struggles, the message is loud and clear: you can have transformation without discomfort. But the truth is, there are no painless cures in life. Growth, healing, and change all come with a cost.
Pain is often the indicator that something is shifting, breaking, or healing. Just as a muscle must tear to grow stronger, our character and our lives must go through challenges to develop depth, wisdom, and resilience. Avoiding pain might feel safe in the short term, but it keeps us stuck in the same patterns. Real transformation requires us to confront the hard things, to push through discomfort, and to stay consistent even when it’s inconvenient.
Every meaningful breakthrough—whether in health, relationships, or purpose—has required someone to face the pain of change. And on the other side of that pain is freedom, clarity, and strength. The “easy way” is often the most expensive in the long run. The only true path to growth is embracing the process, scars and all. There are no painless cures, but there is a powerful cure: courage.

When you bring a group of like-minded individuals together for a three-day event, something powerful happens—walls come down, hearts open, and transformation begins. It’s more than just networking or learning industry strategies; it’s about connection. When people gather with a shared purpose—to grow, to give, and to learn—there’s an energy that can’t be replicated anywhere else.
Over those three days, strangers become friends, stories become bridges, and vulnerability becomes the currency of real connection. You realize that everyone has a story, a struggle, and a reason why they do what they do. And when those stories are shared openly, healing happens—not just for the one speaking, but for everyone listening.
Ideas begin to flow. Collaboration replaces competition. You walk away not only inspired, but changed. Because iron sharpens iron, and when passionate, purpose-driven people come together with humility and heart, miracles happen.
What you take home from an event like that isn’t just knowledge—it’s belief. Belief that your story matters, your voice has power, and your purpose is worth pursuing. That’s the beauty of community—it reminds you that you were never meant to do this alone.

Most people drift through life with a quiet sense of dissatisfaction, not because they lack success, money, or relationships, but because they are not living in alignment with their true calling. Purpose is the engine of fulfillment. Without it, even the greatest achievements can feel hollow. You can have the house, the car, and the title, but if you’re not walking in the direction you were created for, life will always feel incomplete.
When we ignore our calling, a subtle emptiness creeps in. It shows up as restlessness, burnout, or the nagging thought, there has to be more than this. And there is. Living outside of purpose doesn’t just affect the heart—it impacts every area of life. It can drain joy from relationships, rob energy from our bodies, and even cloud our mental health.
On the other hand, when someone discovers and embraces their calling, everything shifts. Work becomes meaningful, challenges become opportunities, and life takes on a deeper sense of direction. Satisfaction doesn’t come from chasing what the world says matters—it comes from living out what you were designed for. Purpose is the difference between merely existing and truly living.

Every human heart longs to know why it is here. Purpose is not just a lofty idea; it is the very anchor of our existence. Yet, so many people spend years searching for it in places that cannot satisfy. Some turn to substances, distractions, or temporary highs, hoping to fill the void inside. But chemicals can only numb the ache—they cannot answer the question of why am I here?
The truth is, we were all created with intention. Our purpose is not something outside of us to chase, but something within us to uncover. It often reveals itself in the quiet moments, in the things that make us come alive, or in the struggles we’ve endured that can now serve as a light for others. While substances may offer an escape from pain, purpose gives meaning through the pain.
The search for purpose is universal. Whether we admit it or not, we all want to know that our life matters. And the moment we stop numbing and start seeking, we begin to discover that our true fulfillment comes from aligning with that greater calling. Purpose isn’t found in avoidance—it’s found in awakening.

Life is full of what ifs. What if I chased that dream? What if I took that risk? What if I became the person I was truly capable of being? For many, these questions remain haunting whispers of potential never realized. But the truth is, what if can be transformed into what is—if you’re willing to shift your mindset and embrace discipline.
Discipline is the bridge between wishing and becoming. It’s not about perfection; it’s about consistency. When you decide to align your daily habits with your highest vision, you start turning possibility into reality. Every small, disciplined choice compounds: choosing health over comfort, focus over distraction, growth over excuses. Suddenly, the life you once imagined starts to take shape in front of you.
The difference isn’t luck—it’s mindset. A mind that believes in possibility and commits to action will always create opportunities where others see obstacles. When you stop doubting and start doing, your what if becomes what is.
The best version of yourself isn’t some distant dream—it’s waiting on the other side of discipline, courage, and belief. Step into it today, and watch your life transform from questions to answers, from potential to reality.

Having the courage to stand up and speak freely about your beliefs takes something most don’t recognize until its price is paid. Freedom of speech sounds like a promise—but in practice it’s not without cost. It means risking ridicule, backlash, alienation, and sometimes, tragically, more than that.
Recently, the life of Charlie Kirk became a somber testament to this harsh truth. Kirk, a political activist known for his outspoken views, was assassinated while speaking at a public event at Utah Valley University. Wikipedia+2Reuters+2 His death shows that being vocal about what you believe—especially in a climate of polarized ideas—can put you in physical danger, not just social or professional peril. Reuters+2AP News+2
Beliefs are not private; they shape how we live, what we fight for, and who we align with. And when you stand for something that challenges others or disrupts the status quo, there will always be resistance. Some resist with words. Some with actions. The cost of silence is high—regret, loss of identity, dreams unspoken. But the cost of speaking out, of holding your ground, can be dangerous.
Still, courage demands we do it anyway. Because if we never risk speaking our truth, we lose not just our voice—but ourselves.

ChatGPT said:
All true transformation begins within. We often look outside ourselves, hoping for better circumstances, different opportunities, or new relationships to bring us fulfillment. But the reality is, nothing changes out there until something changes in here. Every battle worth fighting—fear, doubt, insecurity, anger, or regret—is an inside job.
You cannot expect your external world to shift if your internal world remains the same. A negative mindset will always produce negative outcomes, no matter how much you try to rearrange the outside. The truth is, our thoughts create our reality. What we consume, dwell on, and believe in eventually shows up in the life we experience.
This is why real growth isn’t about chasing more—it’s about becoming more. When you align your inner world with peace, gratitude, and purpose, you naturally begin to attract clarity, opportunities, and breakthroughs. Change your perspective, and suddenly the same challenges look like stepping stones instead of walls.
The hardest work is the unseen work: rewiring beliefs, facing yourself honestly, and choosing better thoughts daily. But it’s also the most rewarding. When you change from the inside out, your external life will eventually rise to match the person you’ve become.

Every great journey begins with a vision—an image of a future that doesn’t yet exist but burns inside you like fire. The challenge is, most people around you won’t see it. They’ll question it, doubt it, maybe even laugh at it. That’s why the first person you must sell the dream to is yourself.
Casting a vision isn’t about convincing others—it’s about building unwavering belief in your own heart. You must be able to close your eyes and see it so clearly that no amount of outside noise can shake you. Because when the nights get long, when the work feels endless, and when support is nowhere to be found, it will be that inner vision that keeps you moving forward.
The truth is, people can’t understand what they haven’t been given. Your dream was entrusted to you, not them. And until it comes to life, they can’t possibly grasp why you’re willing to sacrifice so much for it.
So sell the dream to yourself daily. Speak it. Write it. See it. Believe it. Once you do, others won’t need to understand. They’ll see the results, and the vision that once lived only inside you will become undeniable reality.

At some point in life, we all face the same haunting question: Why am I here? It’s not about where we live, what we do for a living, or even the roles we play—it’s about purpose. Deep down, every soul knows it was created for something more than simply existing, paying bills, and passing time until the end.
This question isn’t meant to torment us; it’s meant to awaken us. It forces us to stop drifting and start seeking. What mission were we entrusted with? What gift were we meant to give before we move on to the next part of this journey? These questions are uncomfortable, but they are also the gateway to clarity.
Some people ignore them, numbing themselves with busyness or distractions. But those who lean in, who dare to wrestle with the weight of their calling, discover a truth that changes everything: life is not random. You were placed here with intention.
Your mission may not look like anyone else’s. It may not be glamorous or widely recognized. But it is yours. And fulfilling it—living it out with courage and conviction—is the very reason you’re here.

Most people drift through life without ever questioning where the current is taking them. They go with the flow, thinking it’s the safe choice—but in truth, it’s the most dangerous path of all. The only things that float aimlessly downstream are trash and debris. People with purpose don’t just drift—they decide, they fight, and they swim against the tide when necessary.
I had this conversation with my daughter recently. I told her that life will always present the easy option: to follow the crowd, to do what everyone else is doing, to avoid standing out. But ease is rarely where growth lives. The crowd may offer comfort, but it rarely offers meaning. Following the flow might feel natural in the moment, but it often leads to regret when you realize you’ve been carried to a destination you never chose.
The truth is, success and fulfillment demand resistance. They require courage to paddle upstream when others are content to coast. Yes, it’s harder. Yes, it’s lonelier. But upstream is where you find clarity, purpose, and the rewards that few ever reach.
Don’t settle for being carried. Choose your direction. Own your journey. Swim with intention—even if it means going against the current.
linkwithsean.com
The road to success is rarely crowded—it’s often lonely, winding, and misunderstood. When you set out to chase a dream bigger than yourself, you quickly realize not everyone will walk with you. Friends may fall away. People you love might not understand why you’re sacrificing comfort, weekends, or even relationships for something only you can see.
Isolation becomes the price tag of purpose. It’s not that others don’t care, but their vision is limited to what is safe, familiar, and ordinary. Your vision, however, calls you into the unknown, into long nights of work when others are sleeping, and into battles that no one claps for. The hardest part isn’t the work itself—it’s the silence, the absence of applause, and the sting of being doubted.
But this solitude is also your refining fire. It strips away distractions and reveals your true strength. Every step you take alone builds resilience, faith, and clarity. Success demands that you trade the approval of the crowd for the conviction of your heart.
Yes, the cost is high. But so is the reward: the fulfillment of knowing you didn’t just dream—you dared, you endured, and you became the person your vision required.
