When Ellen began Movin' And Groovin' With Ellen in September, 2021, her purpose in her first season was to dive into stories of how the pandemic changed the lives of her guests. Now in her second season, since the pandemic has quieted down - fingers crossed - Movin" And Groovin' With Ellen is focusing on all kinds of subjects: issues of the day, books, sports, restaurants and politics.

Expect to laugh a lot; to feel sad somewhat; and to just explore what we have all been through during this podcast.

Boston Globe columnist, Scot Lehigh,  joins Ellen to talk about his wonderful debut novel, Just East of Nowhere, a coming-of-age story which takes place in Eastport, an isolated part of Maine. Scot knows his subject well, as he is a graduate of Shead High School in Eastport. He centers the novel on a young man who must confront painful family secrets, as well as adolescents in his world who have a very hard time growing up. A very raw, gripping story, not to be missed.
